My self-summary
A few years back, one of my pictures got Picture of the Day on Wikipedia. That, and designing the map for the Detroit light rail system, are my major claims to fame.

I have a day job as a lawyer for a beauty company.

On occasion, I'll bust out an aria or two from The Barber of Seville.

I'm a sucker for well-read, confident women.

I'm kind of a hipster, and I accept that.
What I’m doing with my life
My entire time spent living in NYC can be described as one long search for a good burrito.
I’m really good at
I do a great impression of Fran Drescher. It's so convincing that when I was in law school, the law school musical enlisted me to play the law school dean's wife.
The first things people usually notice about me
Thick-framed glasses, awesome shoes, my resemblance to Judge Lance Ito (bonus points if you get the reference)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
When I moved out of LA a couple years ago, my going-away party had a "classy or trashy" theme. So, half the guests showed up dressed like Ke$ha; the other half came dressed in old prom outfits.

This describes my taste in a nutshell.
The six things I could never do without
1 & 2: A bicycle and bicycle tools. I can fix anything.

3: An RSS reader. Google Reader has been taken down, which is a damn shame.

4: A good leather satchel. I carry a good book at all times, because you never know when your train is going to be late.

5 & 6: Tacos and beer.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a secret love of the Pride and Prejudice miniseries with Colin Firth, and I can quote large sections of dialogue verbatim.

My celebrity crush is Sara Bareilles.
