Please allow me share my perspective on a profile. I don't think it's purpose is to be who I am in conversation, it's to convey information you may -or may not be- interested to know. Thus I say things I think are true that I'd never say in conversation as they would sound arrogant -not my style. Also, I don't think my purpose in writing is to get everyone to like me, I'm not a politician. Sometimes I find people are rather polarized either very much liking me or, occasionally, not so much.
I'm an active, athletic guy & smarter than the average bear. I come from a huge family and that remains important to me as we have fun together often. I enjoy a wide range of what life offers from immaturity to great conversations, sarcasm and wit, staying active, adventures -personal or adrenaline inducing, learning new things, and reflection. In short, intelligent, fun-loving and playful individual who has depth, values and character.
Specifically, I enjoy learning, playing lots of sports (mainly ice hockey), going to shows at smaller venues, art fairs & galleries, motorcycles, hiking, camping, and all manner of outdoor adventures along with time at home alone or with family. I enjoy learning about many things whether it be out of curiosity, desire for personal growth or a new hobby.

Exceptions to a generally wide ranging appreciation for varied personality types: pretentiousness, pervasive insecurity, progressive ideologues, staunch traditionalists or rooted couch potatoes.
Lastly. If I opt to write, it's never generic. If it sounds pasted, consider the possibility your page may have little or no info that inspires unique responses. If not that, maybe I suck.
I am fun & funny, intelligent & witty, and adventurous & masculine.
