My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'd say I'm a crazy kind of girl only that's who I'd like to be and not necessarily who I am. Most of my activities involve staying close to home because I'm one of only a few in my circle of friends who actually likes to do stuff like camping and hiking, though I'm prone to take myself and my dog around the lake a couple of times.

Anyways, I'm looking for friends who like adventure and crazy stuff like hiking, tubing, and camping. I'd learn how to fish, only I don't like to eat it, so I don't see the point, I guess.

I enjoy tailgating at the drive-in and long bicycle rides on the trails around here.

I guess I'm also an ENTJ, according to the "official" Myers-Briggs Test. Most of what they have said in descriptions of that type are true, for good or for bad.

I am spunky, sweet, and silly
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
....STILL going to CSU for Microbiology. I'll be finished in May, and hope to stick around for grad school. In the meantime I'm working on an independent research project and making random sacrifices to the science gods (last week it was a rubber chicken).

Preparing for the great unknown that is "after college". I have several options up my sleeve, but I'm thinking I'd like to continue living like a student while it still doesn't bother me and get my PhD. As a result of this, I have no idea where in the country I'll be in the next couple of years, just like Carmen Sandiego.

I've been inspired by a good friend of mine and now I want to see if maybe I can do something with my voice. Learn an instrument or something...hit an open mic night instead of just karaoke. I've got a song that I'm working on, but it's hard because I don't have the necessary skills to make it happen.

I try really hard to hide my nerdy side; alas, it's usually one of the first things people notice, especially when I'm wearing a shirt that says: "Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal"

I don't get to read books too often that aren't academic texts, so when I do read it's usually nothing too involved. Tad Williams, Stephen King, Philip Pullman, Christine Feehan (vampire smut for the win!), James Patterson, Anne Rice, and just about any other science fiction - fantasy novels out there. I do also some "normal reading", I guess.

Lately I've been on a science/popular science kick - I've read "Pale Blue Dot" by Carl Sagan, Parasite Rex and Microcosm by Carl Zimmer, "The Art of Being a Parasite", "Demon in the Freezer", "The Hot Zone, and I have plans to put some Hitchens and Dawkins on the list as well.

Music - I guess I just need to whip out the iTunes library for this one: America, Aerosmith, B-52's, BB King, Beatles, Black Crowes, Black Eyed Peas, Buck-O-Nine, Daft Punk, Dave Matthews Band, Eagles, Guns N Roses, Janis Joplin, Kiss, Kittie, Led Zeppelin, Mana, Merril Bainbridge, Michael Jackson, Motorhead, Poison, The Police, The Ramones, Rascal Flatts, Rusted Root (for the ultimate win), Shakira, Simon and Milo, Socialburn, System of a Down, T. Rex, U2, Van Halen, Van Morrison, Velvet Revolver, Xavier Rudd

Movies - Oh, goodness, I have so many. Recently: Avatar, The Princess and the Frog

Soylent Green, Planet of the Apes, Star Wars, The Last Unicorn, Memento, Gattaca, La Bamba, Happy Feet, most Disney movies, Donnie Darko, Short Circuit, Big Fish, Secondhand Lions, pretty much any Mel Brooks movie, Harry Potters, Moulin Rouge, South Park, Shaun of the Dead, Fifth Element, V for Vendetta, Can't Hardly Wait, Waiting..., Whale Rider, Stargate, most Tim Burton, most Stephen King adaptations, Final Fantasy Advent Children

TV shows: Firefly, Dead Like Me

I should add video games in here I suppose: Most of the Final Fantasy series, DDR (great for a fun workout), Grand Theft Auto, World of Warcraft
