My self-summary
"I'm a simple man. I like pretty, dark-haired women and breakfast food." - Ron Swanson

Hi, I'm Adam. I'm a friendly, funny guy that prides himself on being a good person and someone who likes to make people smile and laugh. A good sense of humor is very important to me.

I'm really laid back and very level-headed. Most of the time I love to just listen to some tunes and chill out, in the car or wherever. I love to sing along to songs and don't really care if I'm any good at it or not.

I'm an avid sports fan. Football is my main sport-related interest (go Bucs!), and I also root for/watch the Rays, and go to a game every now and then.

I'm a tad awkward and not exactly the most well-versed at small talk, but my trademark handsomeness and sweetness make up for it.

I also enjoy browsing record stores and love going to concerts when I can. I actually make music myself on the computer, and I hope to turn it into a career someday, but until then I'm just enjoying what life has to offer.
What I’m doing with my life
I've already gotten my AA from SPC, and right now I'm currently finishing up my first semester at the University of Tampa where I am living on campus and majoring in Communications. However, it's likely I'll be transferring to USF-Tampa in the Fall because tuition at UT is hella expensive.

I'm making the most of my time at UT for now, though, and am a host of my own radio show on campus while I learn about radio in general, as I'd like to be involved with that field in some aspect as a career. In the future, if you're tuned into WMNF or some other well-respected indie station and hear my voice, don't be surprised!

In the meantime I'm just working on new tunes, job hunting, going to the occasional concert, and doing homework.
I’m really good at
Well I don't consider myself "really good" quite yet, but at least for now I'm half-decent at making music. I'm self-taught, so I'm sure I could get a lot better with some proper training.

Video games. I play/will challenge you in Halo 4, Tekken, and GTA V and probably win, so give it your best shot. Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 holds a special place in my heart. Also, Pokemon. None of the new stuff. I'm talking Game Boy Advance era and earlier. Yay nostalgia!

I've been told by many friends that I'm always good for a laugh, funny voice, or terrible pun. My wit is so dry, it gets less rain than the Sahara. I have my dad to blame for that; we're practically the same person.

I can also make one heck of a mix CD.

You need something microwaved? I'm your guy.

I give good hugs, too.
The first things people usually notice about me
My sense of humor, mostly. My glasses, maybe? Either that or how freaking skinny I am (111 lbs).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Movies: Mostly action movies, comedies, and the occasional intellectual/art-house movie. A good list of favorites would be: Children Of Men, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, This Is The End, Lost In Translation, The Social Network, Stranger Than Fiction, The Raid, Bad Santa, Rango, Inglorious Basterds, Drive, The Bourne Trilogy, No Country For Old Men, Hot Fuzz, Moon, Donnie Darko, Spirited Away, Hanna, Zoolander, Pineapple Express, The Prestige, Shaun Of The Dead, and Zombieland.

TV: Mostly just comedies. Louie, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Archer, Community, Childrens Hospital, Party Down, Tom Goes To The Mayor, Parks And Recreation, 30 Rock, Portlandia, Wipeout, Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations, and Archer.

Music: Such a huge part of my life. I've logged a lot of hours listening to vinyl on my turntable, and I'm always looking for new artists to listen to when I'm not listening to ones I've already discovered.

Beck is by far my favorite musician. I could go on for days about how amazing Beck and his music is, but I'll spare you. Besides Beck, though, I usually listen to chillwave, electronic, downtempo, instrumental hip-hop, house, alt rock, 80's & 90's music, shoegaze, and ambient music. Artists like Washed Out, Radiohead, Lone, Gold Panda, Disclosure, Air, Machinedrum, Flying Lotus, Röyksopp, Toro Y Moi, Neon Indian, James Blake, Tycho, Teen Daze, The Radio Dept., M83, CHVRCHES, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Dum Dum Girls, Wild Nothing, Grizzly Bear, Tame Impala, Phoenix, My Bloody Valentine, Jensen Sportag, Black Moth Super Rainbow, Clams Casino, Elvis Depressedly, Holy Other, How To Dress Well, Purity Ring, Panda Bear, Blackbird Blackbird, and Baths. It gets pretty eclectic as you can see, and I'm always adding to my list.

Food: American, Mexican, and Olive Garden-level Italian food are all scrumptious. I know a great Thai food place on Madeira Beach and I'm also starting to drink tea now. Mostly, though, I'm a chicken fingers, pizza, burgers, and hot dog kind of guy. I've basically got the diet of a 5th grader and I'm not ashamed of it one bit.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How fast does a zebra have to run before it looks grey? Where am I going to build the treehouse I'm going to live in someday? Also, how would I survive in a zombie apocalypse? (hint: Costco)
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually in my dorm, listening to music on my turntable. I would always be up for a late-night adventure. I like the idea of being whisked away somewhere spontaneous.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've got a pretty noisy stomach. It likes to let me know quite loudly when it's hungry, mostly during inconvenient times. How rude!
