I am a bit of a nerd, a bit of a creative type. Some people seem to think I'm funny. My mother thinks I'm cute. I don't really see it. I work in advertising for now. I like gatherings, but hate people.

I'm looking to possibly do something different, but not sure what yet. The business I'm in is changing rapidly, and I'm not sure I want to see what happens next. I work in advertising as a writer, but I'm getting a little tired of waiting for the world to catch up with the interwebs. But perhaps what it turns into will be fabulously exciting. Right now it's all about Google and search engine optimization, which for someone who likes making television commercials and writing funny headlines, is not good.

I work in midtown, but live in the L5P area, so I stay on the East side generally speaking, unless I'm headed to Costco. Yeah. I dig the Costco.

Currently, I'm apparently pretty good at my job, because I'm still working. It's a bloodbath out there.

I'm also good at making people comfortable, and feeling good about themselves. People say I'm funny. I make people laugh. I'm good at finding fun and yummy things to eat, and cooking a little. I'm good at knowing what's going on around town and finding good deals on shoes. I will possibly be a good addition to your trivia team, provided you don't have a television/comic book/movie/music/advertising specialist already.

I like travel books, even though I don't travel very much anymore.
I like almost all kinds of movies. Just watched Fantastic Mister Fox, Crazy Heart and Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and liked them all. So whatever that means.
On TV, I like Breaking Bad and Family Guy. Archer makes me so happy on the inside. I wish there were a Whore Island.
I like all kinds of music except rap and bad R&B and modern "country." I heart Hall and Oates and Band of Horses. And Heart.
And I will eat you under the table. Not crazy about some sushi. But everything else, I will dominate you. Some favorite dives include Antico, Taquiera Del Sol, the Flatiron, Hankook, something tells me I'll be hitting Farm Burger a lot.

Grocery shopping, happy houring, movie seeing, band watching, nap taking, late working... I don't have a routine, really.
