My self-summary
Only moderately dissatisfied wage-slave and cat lover. In a long term relationship. That pretty much sums up my entire life.
What I’m doing with my life
Calling up the good people of Hull, to bug them about new products and services.

I don't go out much these days, as I'm far too busy being a serious adult, with far too many bills to pay. I'd love to get out more though and I'm just waiting for an excuse really.
I’m really good at
One thing that I'm sure that I'm very good at is cooking, other than that I'm less sure. I'm a moderately decent artist, I sometimes think I can sing and I pick up foreign languages fairly quickly, or at least used to. I'm rather good at organising parties and such, but I rarely get the chance these days, because it's really not the same when you're no longer a student.
The first things people usually notice about me
It always used to be my bright, crazy hair, but I gave in when I was looking for a job and was too poor and depressed to keep up with the dying, so now it's long and natural (dark brown) and it's actually really nice now I'm used to it.

People say I have very nice eyes and occasionally they try and pull off my eyelashes because they don't believe they aren't false.

Lots of people probably notice my ass. It's huge, yet incredibly pert. Gay men in particular, are for some reason fascinated.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'd say my favourite books at the moment are anything by Robin Hobb. I just discovered her by reading her Liveship Traders Trilogy and would recommend them to anyone who likes fantasy, pirates, ships or really interesting characterisation and plot twists. I'm now reading anything by her I can get my hands on, apart from unfortunately, the book I need from the library is currently on loan to Hull Prison.

I also like loads of the obvious fantasy books like Harry Potter, the Song of Ice and Fire series (Game of Thrones to the layman), Terry Prattchett's Discworld stuff (not got a problem with his other stuff, but never get around to reading them). I am also a new convert to Tolkien and cannot quite get my head around how I enjoyed reading his stuff so much this time and yet didn't before. I think eleven isn't too young for some people to read LOTR, but it obviously was for me.

I read genres other than fantasy, but I guess fantasy is my favourite.

To be continued...
I think I'm off to the shops.
The six things I could never do without
My cat. Having a furry, cuddly, little person to love has saves my sanity on a regular basis. And he sort of loves me back.

Beer. I have a bit of a problem and have had to start drinking non-alcoholic and low-alcohol beer, because otherwise I would be pissed too much. Ideally I drink Real Ales, especially really hoppy, bitter ones. I will also drink decent European lagers such as Staropramen and Tuborg or even Efes (anyone who spends too much time at Wetherspoons will know that I do too).

Webcomics. I read at least ten, of varying type and quality. The longest running and most consistent one is Questionable Content, which I guess is the most famous of them and I would recommend it to anybody. There is something about these wonderful little daily/weekly snippets of story and pictures that really divert me and cheer me up when I'm down.

Tweezers. Stop me from being a hairy social pariah and keep me as a hairy, socially acceptable person.

Massive, MASSIVE, black pants. Once converted to huge great-grandma-sized pants, I was never going back. They somehow give less VPL than all the kinds of pants that people tell you won't give you VPL but do. You will find them strewn across my house, drying on every surface. ASDA never have enough of them.

The right shoes. My feet are like strange, flat, infant, play-dough feet, which are having a knock-on effect to all my other joints. They won't fit in most shoes in anything approaching a sensible way, so I can only wear trainers, granny sandals or, funnily enough, obscene 6" smike stilettos and crazy lady gaga platforms.
On a typical Friday night I am
Recovering from work in some maladjusted way, be that getting really drunk, or curling up in bed and miserably watching Netflix.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I totally judge you on your pictures, but not for the reasons you might think.
I’m looking for
  • Everybody
  • Ages 18–28
  • Near me
  • For new friends
You should message me if
I'd really love some people who aren't straight men messaging me. Don't get me wrong, straight men are cool, I just mean that it shouldn't be weird to message people for friendship, who you would never consider having a sexual relationship with. I'd love more female friends, because I seem to have less than I'd like these days.

So yeah... basically message me if you are a person. I just wanted to emphasise that people who would never want to have sex with me in a million years should really message me more.
