So this whole things seems to boil down to baggage. I can honestly say I have virtually none. I'm not saying having kids or an ex is necessarily a bad thing. However with me there is no ex-wife with the persona of Genghis Khan or kids that are like an invading army. I'm gainfully employed, own a home/car etc. so I won't be stealing money from your purse.
I'm looking for a woman who has the same basic qualities as myself. Mainly someone who is down to earth and a genuine person. Also, I can never understand the need to get worked up over every little thing. So you'd have to nail my feet to the floor to make me stay with someone who's only means of communications is to yell and swear.
I greatly appreciate a woman with a quick wit and is a practitioner of the fine art of sarcasm. However, humor is all about timing so I know when to keep the "wit" to myself. Also, it is very important to understand the difference between sarcasm and being an &^%$#.
A bit more about me I'm educated, gainfully employed and have solid work ethic. Also, I'm a very capable person and have "the knack" for fixing things. I know life takes work and would expect any woman I'm with to have that understanding as well. There is nothing worse than being around people who you can almost hear the sucking sound when they enter a room.
Obviously I'm writing this "tongue in cheek", but I hope I've painted a picture of who I am and the type of woman I'm looking for. So if I've piqued your interest I'd love a wink or message.
What I’m doing with my life
Working so I can live life and pursue my other interests.
I’m really good at
Fixing things, I'm currently having a raging battle (which I am
winning) with the garage door, photography (I have a wicked flickr
account which I'm happy to share), gardening, cooking, swearing at
the TV when the Pens won't shoot the puck.
The first things people usually notice about me
To be honest I don't really know, perhaps one of you will tell what
you notice first.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I read a lot anything from biography of Benjamin Franklin, Making of the Atom Bomb, Gone Girl to Kurt Vonnegut. I can appreciate many kinds of music as well. I would say the Who and bands of that ilk are the best. I don't think it is import to have these kind of things in common for a good relationship.
The six things I could never do without
One thing I could do without is the pop-up that keeps covering these boxes when I try to type. Family, Coffee, guitars, passport, my many tools, camera and computer. However, I think I could do without most of the things I've listed and still live life.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
At the moment how weaselly microsoft is for making me buy a new
license because I replaced the motherboard in my computer (yes I
did it myself) and how it would be nice to have a girlfriend.
On a typical Friday night I am
Could be anything from happy hour to yard work. Sometimes I combine
the two and have some drinks while watering my flowers.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I think those questions provide enough details. If you want to know
more you'll have to buy to buy the ticket to take the ride,
figuratively speaking. I will reveal two things people seldom
believe. I've never bought anything at walmart and I've only eaten
at McDonald's once in the last 20 years (it was out of necessity).
You should message me if
If anything I've mentioned has piqued your attention or you think we might gel.
