My self-summary
I'm Dan. I'm a busy guy theses days-- student by day, movie theater manager by night. I volunteer a bit here and there on the side and am passionate about what I do. I love meeting new people and broadening my horizons. There's a lot to learn from those with different world-views.

A few things I enjoy on a somewhat regular basis:
-Sarcasm
-Coffee
-Dining
-Photography
-Traveling and exploring
-Hiking
-Day trips
-Obscene amounts of coffee
-Beer
-Pie
-Making bagels
-Netflix
-Procrastination
-Hanging out downtown!
-Museums
-Architecture
-Ranting about politics
What I’m doing with my life
I work full-time in Movie Theater Management and go to BSU part time. This semester, I'm also starting classes online with ASU. Yay for having no life! Oh, and did I mention that I was a homeowner at 24?

I'm working right now on a BSP in Urban Planning. I think it'd be amazing to build "greener" cities. It's an exciting time for environmental issues, and I really do heed the call to help our planet. At the same time, I'm not an eco-nazi, do don't expect me to criticize your practices... too much.

I've found in life do far that I likely could be happy doing just about anything, but would be happier doing a bit of everything.
I’m really good at
Cooking, listening, helping others, DIY projects. I am apparently also a decent amateur photographer and photoshop operator.
The first things people usually notice about me
My over-apologeticness! Well, it's not that bad anymore. I still apologize out of order sometimes... I just like pleasing people, I guess?

-or-

People generally notice my smile. For some reason it's pretty much impossible for me not to smile! I'm not the kind of guy that laughs at a funeral, but the awkward smile always makes things interesting.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I don't read very often. A few books or plays that I have enjoyed in previous years:[Hamlet, The Importance of Being Earnest, World War Z, The Zombie Survival Guide, "Milk, Eggs, Vodka," "Letters From a Nut," "I'm America and So Can You!". More recently, "The Power of Now, The Martian, (insert future book here)". Honestly, I try to read, but I don't prioritize it as much as I should.

The six things I could never do without
1. Coffee
2. Breakfast
3. Friends
4. Me-Time
5. Keeping busy
6. Laughing
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Mainly life. My decisions. Am I doing the right thing? Politics. My house. Finances. How can I better myself? How can I make a difference in the world?
On a typical Friday night I am
Setting things on fire with my mind.

It varies... ideally, Friday nights are filled with friends. Whether out dancing, or staying in for games, I'm pretty flexible.

25 times out of 26 however, I'm at work.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I prefer baths over showers.

I know... yikes. What kind of person over age five routinely takes baths? *shudder*
You should message me if
...if you want to get to know me! I can be a great friend, among other things. I like class and romance. But I'm also fine with beer and karaoke. Does that sound like you?

Message me if you want to get out and do something! :)
