My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I don't believe in taking one's self too seriously, so I enjoy joking with/about others/me. My sense of humor is rather broad, ranging rom the worst puns (What do they do with chemists after they die? Barium) to taboo/inappropriate jokes (i.e. what do you [removed by censor]).

Originally, I'm from the Chicago suburbs and will be moving back to northern Illinois after eight years in Des Moines, Omaha, and Austin.

Traveling is one of my biggest interests, and I hope to do so extensively throughout my life. I love the history and food of Europe, but would like to visit each continent at least once (well, maybe not Antarctica, but I think it would be a good adventure).

I completed my Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Drake University and a post-grad residency year in Omaha. Currently, I finishing up my second year residency, specializing in psychiatric pharmacy. This July, I'll be starting as a clinical psychiatric pharmacist at a local Rockford hospital. Part of the job is being a good listener, since pretty much all psychiatric symptoms are reported by the patient. There's really no blood test for schizophrenia, so diagnoses are made based on what the patient says, and man, do they say some interesting things.
