My Self-Summary
I'm trying to learn french in case I ever get the urge to move somewhere with great wine. I pluck at my guitar when I'm avoiding physics, chem and biology homework. I have a keyboard stashed under my bed from when I tried to learn chopsticks. I have recently found that I love sushi. I have a Kawasaki Ninja stashed in my garage in case I need to speed off quickly. I have an abundance of friends that I adore. I get great satisfaction when I learn something new, regardless of whether its relevant to my life. Whenever I come across something I don't know I'll write it down and google it later. I'm the weirdo who takes random classes so I can learn different things. I read a lot. I think a lot. I also sleep a lot.
What I’m doing with my life
I’m really good at
Well, I'm usually the person my friends call when they need help. It can be help planning something, random medical advice, legal advice, relationship advice. Whatever it is, I'm rather understanding in most situations.
I can totally kick your ass at jenga. And Super Mario Bros. I will end you if you think you can beat me at old school Mario.
The first things people usually notice about me
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
My favorite authors are Ken Follett and Orson Scott Card. My all time favorite book is 1984 by George Orwell. I enjoy any likewise movie or book based on what he imagined.
I'm kind of a vegetarian. Kind of, you may ask? Well, I stopped eating meat due to some sort of bet/dare. I lasted for a little over a year, but caved on my birthday when I was presented with English style fish and chips. Since then I eat sea food, so technically that would make me a pescetarian. Titles are irrelevant anyway.
The six things I could never do without
I don't think I can physically go for more than a couple of days without tea. I was born in England, and I'm Indian, so my blood may be caffeinated. I have a tea-time at 4:00pm. Seriously.
Chucks. I love my Converse shoes. I wear them in the Sun, Snow, Rain, nothing stops them. Except bodies of water. Then I go shoe-less. Or if its a fancy-pants night, in that case I have lots of pretty heels.
My friends and family, of course. They are all spread out over the world though, so in a sense I do live without some of them. It's tough.
An ice-cold beer or an awesome glass of wine. The knowledge that I can head out to my favorite bar where everybody really does know my name, and relax with a cold beverage is very comforting.
Freedom.
