Hey there. In case you were wondering, 'dhob' stands for 'dirtyhobbit', an admittedly embarrassing screen name that I've been using for ever.

Despite often finding myself unable to stop talking in real life, I am oddly speechless when it comes to this self-summary. But, to keep it short - I think I'm a fairly normal person, and enjoy the usual stuff such as dining out with friends, good conversations, books (I think I've been reading something my whole life), occasional exercise or outdoors stuff, and comedy. Most people I know seem to think I'm pretty funny...but I'll let you be the judge :P

I'm on this site because I'm trying to meet someone I wouldn't otherwise meet, seeing how I don't get out much due to work. I spend a lot of time on the internet, so I figured..why not!?

Favorite TV shows: Curb Your Enthusiasm, Shark Tank, Arrested Development, Lost, The Office, Friends, South Park, East Bound and Down, Trailer Park Boys

Favorite Movies: Beavis and Butthead Do America, Independence Day, Office Space, Little Miss Sunshine, most Disney/Pixar films, Honey I Shrunk the Kids, and of course Training Day

Favorite Foods: Korean BBQ, 5-Guys Burgers, Thai Iced Tea, Vietnamese noodles. Seriously though, I will eat anything except Indian food, which I despise.

Favorite Music: I really like rock from the 80s and 90s, but listen to just about anything that sounds good and is on the radio or youtube.

The world as a whole, good ideas for new reality TV shows, interesting things I saw during my day, the application of philosophical principles, ancient history, the likelihood that my dog chewed something up while I wasn't home

Either having dinner with a friend or just relaxing after work in any number of ways, such as watching some Netflix. It's Friday after all!
