Smart, Cute, and Fun
My self-summary Propose an edit
Argh! Have a hard time with this part... So, I am taking the lazy
and easy way out and listing what my friends think of me.
Extrovert, artsy, cosmopolitan, friendly, generous, goofy, serious,
kind, hard working, energetic. I enjoy cooking, dinner parties,
singing and dancing, love to explore new things. Caring, confident,
honest, ethical, devoted, free-spirited, romantic, affectionate,
sometimes intense, on the path of personal/spiritual growth.
Socially aware, independent thinker with politically
liberal/progressive views, spiritual and tolerant. I like both,
lazy weekends, staying in my pajamas half the day catching up with
family and friends, doing experimental cooking, AND busy, packed
weekends full of activities, running to Boston for a day/a weekend
for fun and interesting activities. If I have overlapping invites
to something really, really good, I am known to do both or all
three sometimes. Sometimes, it is hard to choose between all the
good that is offered, especially when it involves good company,
good friends, good food and good music. :)
The first thing(s) people usually notice about me Propose an edit
They know right away that I am an Indian (and proud of it). They
also see that I have lived here long enough (two decades) and feel
at home here, in this second home of mine. They notice that I am an
east-west blend. They are almost always surprised that I am single!
Is it good or bad, I am not sure.
The six things I could never do without Propose an edit
The love of my family, my friends, ethnic foods, music, my phone,
access to nature.
I spend a lot of time thinking about Propose an edit
My future, future of the world, am I too old for bangs, water
shortage crisis, energy crisis, morals and judgment, every day
chores, environment, economy, human behavior, human awareness, why
so few people sing in public, why I love yoga so much but don't do
enough of it, am I really lazy, do I think too much?, why should I
over intellectualize EVERYTHING?, Have I become too American? why
am I not taking risks, should I change my line of work?, Will I
survive as an artist?, Am I selling out if I switch to a higher
paying job in marketing or project management for a few years?,
getting organized, friends with problems, How far is too far when
it comes to helping them, Inefficiency and how I can help anyone
and everyone with that?, and oh, worry about what others think of
me sometimes, not too much, but sometimes. I wonder if it is the
Indian in me...
This changes from day to day. It might be a whole set of new things
tomorrow.
On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit
Out where my friends are, could be a movie, a dinner party, hanging
out with friends' kids, drive to Boston for some music, play
badminton with friends before going out to dinner.
The most private thing I'm willing to admit here Propose an edit
That I am a very private person in some ways. Get to know me and
you'll find out everything. Show me your skeletons and I will show
you mine. :)
You should message me if Propose an edit
You are looking for something serious, friendship, single and
available, super self confident, good communicator (not the kind
that takes three days to call back! What's up with that??), you're
really open to dating people from other cultures, self sufficient,
confident, independent, funny, yet serious when necessary, patient,
tolerant.
