My self-summary Propose an edit

Well, I have a wide variety of interests. I like listening to music, watching live bands, movies, playing pool, exercising, playing various games (board games and video games), amusement parks, museums, and browsing through a book store or library. I also like anything related to the outdoors...things like camping, hiking, swimming, site-seeing, playing sports, etc...

I'm very open minded and I love learning new things. So I'm always up to trying something I never experienced before... within reason :)

I work in the IT field, and I like my job pretty well. It can get kind of hectic at times, but I like the challenge it provides.

I think I have a good sense of humor. Though I am pretty sarcastic and my sense of humor tends to be more dry. I like to laugh a lot and I like making other people laugh. In fact the best friends I have ever had all had the same style of humor as me, even if we didnt have much else in common.

For the most part, I'm kind of the quiet type. Some people mistake me for being shy, but I'm really not shy at all. I just keep to myself a lot but I will definitely talk when I have something to say. :)

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

Wish I had something exciting to say here, but unfortunately I dont. LOL! I go to work and back 5 days a week :) I still manage to go out a few times a month, so I manage some fun now and then. I also study for different IT certifications in my spare time.

I guess I do more things than this, it just seems pointless to list every single detail of my life...I would imagine many people lie on this question, anyway, to make it seem that their lives are more exciting than they really are.. LOL! At least I'm honest.

I'm real good at my job. I'm good with computers and troubleshooting, so yeah, I do my job very well.

I'm pretty mechanically inclined... I can usually fix things and put things together easily. I'm not much of an auto mechanic, but I can fix most things around the house.

I'm also good at playing board games.

The most obvious is my hair. I have pretty long hair for a guy. Though I dont wear it as long I used to, it's still longer than most guys' hair. I also get compliments on my eyes now and then.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit

Books - I mainly read non-fiction but I do like The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Harry Potter series. I guess I enjoy reading more for learning than for entertainment.

Movies - some of my favorites: Trainspotting, Annie Hall, Strange Brew, Spinal Tap, Rock n Roll High School, Forbidden Zone, About Schmidt, Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, Napoleon Dynamite, Star Wars...As you can see I have a wide variety of interests.

Music - I like a lot of classic rock and old punk rock bands. Stuff like: The Ramones, The Cramps, Flipper, Nomeansno, Social Distortion, Iggy Pop (Stooges), Misfits, X, Residents, Reverend Horton Heat, old Butthole Surfers, Velvet Underground, Black Sabbath, Rolling Stones, Animals, CCR...

Food - pretty much anything that will fit in my mouth. :)

my daughter, my friends, my sense of humor, my music collection, and my computer. I know thats only 5, but I cant think of anything else, heh.

It depends..Like I said, I go out a few times a month, but not necessarily on Fridays. Sometimes I may go out with a friend to play pool and drink beer, or I may stay at home by myself, or go to the bookstore, or whatever...
