Your Notes

My Self-Summary
It doesn't take much to entertain me. A quiet movie night, a trip somewhere to see the sights... I'm pretty relaxed and easy-going. I'm content to do whatever is available. I do thrive on new experiences, though.
I enjoy creative outputs when time allows. I've dabbled in sketching, photography, painting, ink drawings, music, and writing. I've never become proficient at any save for writing, but that doesn't mean I don't want to be. I think it would be nice to share a project involving any of the above with someone.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm also working two part time positions right now in web development. Because of my work, I unfortunately don't get out much, so this seems like a good solution to meet potential partners.
I’m really good at
I enjoy working with them because of their complexity and potential. It's something I can bury my mind in and never run out of...I guess I would consider them exercises in thinking?
I like being able to play with logic. That might sound boring to some, but I always get to work with a new idea, or an old idea in a new way. It's all powered by nothing more than ideas and a sacrifice of time, and I find that very intriguing.
The first things people usually notice about me
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
My favorite movie is probably The Princess Bride. I know it sounds like an overly feminine movie, but I promise you that it's something anyone should be able to enjoy.
Music? Anything belonging to the hard rock or heavy metal genres. Lately I've been enjoying power metal, so my tastes have shifted to bands that can really show off melodic and harmonic skills, but still add force to their music. (Sonata Arctica has quickly become my favorite band.)
As far as food goes, I tend to be a picky eater, so I have no definitive answer.
The six things I could never do without
2. Computers
3. Knowledge
4. Cultural Pursuits
5. Friends
6. A Clearly-Thinking Mind (something I do not always have, sadly)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I can't avoid thinking about anything. Every piece of knowledge or statement deserves some dedicated thought, at the least.
Today I read about someone who loves language and wants to study linguistics. Guess where my thoughts are now.
