Hi and thanks for visiting my profile! I figure the rest of this page covers a lot, so I’ll give you the bottom line: I’m an easy-going / low-key person who has more hobbies than I can count, with slightly nerdy tendencies... =) I'm not a clubber or party animal, but prefer to hang out with family and friends, travel, hike/camp, play cards and board games, etc instead. I think life’s meant to be simple and fun, so I try as much as possible to keep to that.

Career-wise, I'm a pharmacist who works in drug safety. I consider myself very lucky in that I had the flexibility and opportunity to find a job that I absolutely love!

Non-career-wise, I'm figuring out my place in the world and how I can contribute to it. Meeting people and seeing different perspectives is a big part of the process.

I don't know if I'm really good at it, but I love cooking (anything veggie)! Given that "the way to a guy's heart is his stomach," I thought I'd link my blog (http://edgyveggiebytes.wordpress.com/). Just think, if we hit it off, you could be a guinea pig... =)

I also love anything art-related (photography, painting, cake decorating, jewelry making, etc.), but these are completely subject to my inspiration and mood at a given time.

I thought the logical thing to do for this section is to ask people I know... Unanimously, they said that I love laughing (more often than not, followed by "we can usually hear you laugh before we see you"). After all, life’s meant to be enjoyed! =)

Books: HARRY POTTER!!!!! =) Never too old for kids books! I'm a HUGE fan of Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Phillip Pullman, John Grisham, Sidney Sheldon, Enid Blyton, mysteries, pretty much anything fiction (I think of reading as an escape).

Movies: 100% mood dependent (except scary movies, which I will never voluntarily watch)

TV Shows: Glee, Big Bang Theory, Psych, Daily Show, Castle, M*A*S*H, House, Lie to Me, Cosby, Full House, Friends, South Park, Office

Music: Hindi songs, Soft rock and Rock, Lifehouse, Cold play, Maroon 5, whatever is on the radio (yes, I still listen to the radio and do not own an mp3 player or anything like it!)

Food: anything veggie!

Family and friends, a kitchen, my camera, books, chocolate!

Everything... brains are just like the rest of us, and need regular exercise! Always up for a good, thoughtful conversation, especially if we have differing points of view.

More recently, I've spent a lot of time thinking about how to create/tweak new recipes for my blog! =)

Doing whatever seems interesting... hanging out in coffee shops, reading a book, watching a movie, doing some art stuff or baking, playing games/cards/etc with friends/family...

Essentially, I'm up for anything as long as it's good company!
