Books, let's see.... I used to be a much more avid reader of books,
but my reading has focused increasingly on articles lately.
are two of my favorite fiction writers. History and
science provide a wealth of interests for my non-fiction reading -
or listening, in the case of audiobooks.
I can appreciate haute cuisine or make the most of a buffet with
equal aplomb. There is little I do not like though I have an
aversion to hot beverages. That said, I am happy to meet in a
coffee shop and have a coke.
My all-time favorite movie is Miller's Crossing
the whole Cohen brothers catalog is full of gold. I try to find
something about movies that I can enjoy, no matter how bad they
are. It's more enjoyable for me than studying a film for flaws,
though I can understand the appeal of that common pastime as
