I am a man of my word. Medically I am a T12, L1 incomplete paraplegic. I was told there was only 3mm left of my spinal cord and no hope of ever getting anything back. I'd be confined to a wheelchair the rest of my life. That was Jan 2002, it's now Dec 2006. I am now walking, or at least stumbling, LOL, with a brace on my leg, but still do need the wheelchair. In the last few years I've lost almost everything I valued, my best, and only friend...my Dad, my family, my job, my business, the use, and feeling in my legs, control of my bowels and bladder, freedom to do what I want when I want, and almost my life twice. I also live in constant pain. BUT... I have not lost my self-respect, my ability to give and to care for others, to Love, to laugh, and you'll rarely see me without a smile.

I believe in Love What is Love to me? Love, like the ocean, is not a wave on the shore, or a tide with an ebb and flow, it is everlasting and never ending. It gives us power to do the undoable, strength to resist temptation, and the ability to go on when we feel we can't. Love is about giving, and caring Love makes life worth living Love puts a smile on your face, when there is an ache in your heart Love should be honored, cherished, and respected. I am looking for a woman who is Love personified, She lives as I do where your spouse is first, then children, family, friends, and lastly yourself. She understands the concept of giving, and of allowing someone to give to her. When you love someone you WANT to give to them, and one of the greatest gifts you can give someone is allowing them to give to you. Physically I like slim, 5'6" to 5'8", a firm flat tummy and a nice chest, but without character outer beauty is unattractive.
