My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm talented, funny, smart, and confident, with the smile of a trickster god.

I try to do great things. Right now I'm back in California after teaching a web development boot camp in NYC. Who knows what's next...
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm working on a few small projects, including a karaoke-focused web project, a bitcoin project, and a medical diagnostic systems project. I'm finally climbing again after three months of recovery from an Achilles tear.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm sophisticated, brilliant, charming, hilarious, beautiful, kind, musical, danceable, kissable, cuddly, high-powered, and radiant.

I can sight-sing Bach, lindy hop in an aisle, lead climb a 5.10d, and debug your code without needing to see it, just from you describing its behavior. I can make a fantastic chocolate mousse cake, and a deeply satisfying hamburger. I can hold you until you're ready to talk.

I have held jobs, left jobs, created jobs, been fired from jobs, started companies, and seen companies die. I have started open source projects. I have written entire applications in plpgsql, and liked it. I have sailed a Catalina with a half-rigged mainsail and an engine throwing sparks through a maze of windsurfers, and brought her home safe.

I might take you out to dinner.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I'm pretty short; it's for fuel efficiency. That I am leaving it all on the stage at the dive bar karaoke night.

I talk like I know what I'm talking about, and reasonably often I do. But when I'm just making it up people believe me. "I'm just making this up!" I tell them. But they don't seem to care. It's a thrilling and dangerous sense of power.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
TOOL, RATM, Muse, Tom Waits. I like sushi, Indian food, burgers, and pizza. I don't eat pork, it's a tribal thing.

Odd music/video tastes include The Billy Nayer Show and Brad Neely's Babycakes (and maybe now Queeblo!) If you don't enjoy the ridiculous/absurd, then we were not meant to be.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I like my comforts, but not much is really essential. Purpose. Love. Lists.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want to go sing karaoke.
You want to build something amazing with me.
You want to come to board game night.
You care about freedom (the speech/voting kind).
You are brilliant, kind, ambitious, hot-blooded, gentle, playful, and open.
