I'm Sean. I wrote a really long profile on here then neglected it
for two years so I'm going to keep this short and sweet from now
on. I like music, reading, cooking, and biking. I'm vegan and have
been for around 7 years. I collect plastic in the form of records
and Transformers. I'm very into science; astronomy, astrophysics,
environmental science and biology in particular. I also really
fucking love dinosaurs and robots. I've had a rough couple of years
and I'm currently trying to get my shit together and starting to do
ok at it.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now I'm just laying low, working, trying to figure out what's
next. I recently moved to Naples from Ft. Myers and it's nice and
quiet and a much needed change from where I was at. I was entirely
too distracted by everyone around me to care about what I was doing
with my own life at all, so I'm trying to fix that. Catching up on
the reading, video games, and fruits of quiet introspection I
deprived myself of for the past few years. I'm taking an extended
break from school because I can't settle on what I really want to
I’m really good at
Dancing like a weirdo, cooking, being an elitist asshole about
music, listening to shitty music, listening to people, writing,
cleaning and organizing. I'm actually really good at explaining
things, I enjoy breaking concepts down, articulating ideas, and
spreading knowledge. I roll a nice doobie.
The first things people usually notice about me
Freckles, eyes, smile, and weight. Yes I know I'm skinny, I have a
crazy metabolism. "Funky style" and "unique look" are some
compliments that I've heard from strangers out in the world.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm into dystopian fiction, fantasy, and sci-fi, pretty much
anything if it's good. Favorite authors include Margaret Atwood,
Haruki Murakami, Daniel Quinn, Madeleine L'Engle, Kurt Vonnegut,
Alan Moore, Ernest Hemingway, Isaac Asimov, and Tolkien.
Top films: Repo Man, Seven Samurai, The Room, The Life Aquatic, The
Transformers: The Movie (1986), Jurassic Park. Star Wars duh. I
grew up with the new trilogy and I'm not too cool to admit I love
it despite it's flaws.
Favorite shows are a very ephemeral thing, I'm not one to go back
and re-watch something unless it really calls for it. Red Dwarf,
Arrested Development, Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, X-Files, It's
Always Sunny, Evangelion, MST3K, Star Trek TOS/NG, and Adventure
Time come to mind off the top of my head. Of course stuff like GoT,
Breaking Bad, etc. goes without saying in our culture.
I like all the music that doesn't suck; mostly hardcore, punk,
indie, beats, experimental, noise, hiphop, folk, metal and many of
the strange subgenres you get when any of those intersect.
Converge, Bomb the Music Industry!, and Sleater-Kinney are some all
Food: anything tasty and vegan obviously. My own specialties are
vegan stirfry, pizza, soups, pasta and casseroles. I also have been
rolling my own veggie sushi for a while now and getting pretty good
at it. Not big into baking, but I can pull it off when duty calls.
The six things I could never do without
My bike, cooking, music, dancing, reading, weed.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The future and where its taking us as a planet. Starting a band.
On a typical Friday night I am
Being awesome and getting weird if the opportunity arises.
Otherwise relaxing at home.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I will always have a boner for Davey Havok.
You should message me if
You wanna make a new friend, platonic or otherwise, cuddle, watch
movies, ride bikes, trade mixtapes, jam with someone who can't play
instruments, go to a show, eat good vegan food, trade recipes, go
to the beach, go to the bar, have a dance party, or just holler.
