My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a funny, honest, intelligent, empathic man who is looking for someone to complement me in this thing called life.. I am pretty quiet when out alone, but am a lot more sociable in the presence of friends or if I am out to meet someone.

I am a good balance of dependent and independent. I want someone to do many of the little daily and huge impactful things in life with, but also understand and agree with the desire to have an active relationship with friends or curl up with a good book and do things independently of one another.

I am agnostic, but wouldn't say non-spiritual. I find religion to be fascinating, and am pretty open minded to others views in general. A big part of my moral philosophy is doing why I can to make sure I don't negatively impact others (human and animal), and that is part of what has led me to be a vegetarian.

Some activities I enjoy doing:
eating new food, bowling, golf, mini golf, camping, watching movies/tv, playing video games, going to comedy clubs, and going out with friends. I'd like to travel abroad more, but haven't really done it much yet...
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Figuring out where I want to focus my long term career. Attempting to play piano after failing miserably as a child. Toying with Garage Band. Playing DDR to stay healthy. Toying with circuitry. Pondering how to decorate my apartment.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making people laugh if I am in a situation that I can poke fun at. Understanding different points of view. Doing things with computers and electronics in general. Using proper punctuation while communicating. Flitch games like whack-a-mole. Making inflatable origami balls.
The first things people usually notice about me

It all depends on the context. With friends or when meeting someone new, probably that I am geeky and funny. Going about my day alone, probably that I can be a little socially awkward.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Movies: My favorite genres are probably science fiction, comedy, romance, horror, psychological thrillers. A couple of my favorites are A Tale of Two Sisters, Day After tomorrow, Office Space, Sweeney Todd, Phantom of The Opera, Iron Man, Shaun of the Dead, Donnie Darko, Resident Evil, Batman Begins, Coraline, Tokyo Sonata, Wristcutters, and Children of Men. I'm not a huge critic, so I'm pretty easy to please as long as the movie has an interesting plot.

TV: I have accumulated a fair number of shows I like to watch. Some of my favorites are Arrested Development, Breaking Bad, Dexter, Doctor Who, Family Guy, Grey's Anatomy, House, How I Met Your Mother, Lost, Shameless, Supernatural, Torchwood, and True Blood. I like many others though and have fairly broad tastes.Boy Meets World was one of my favorite shows as a kid.

Music: I like all kinds of music genres. Some of my favorites are symphonic metal and classical. I usually focus more on the instrumental qualities of the music instead of the lyrics, and tend to have pretty broad interests in terms of origin because of that. Some of the stuff I enjoy is is Apocalyptica, Chopin, Evanescence, Breaking Benjamin, Leaves' Eyes, Nightwish, Nine Inch Nails, the soundtrack to the Phantom of the Opera motion picture, and Smashing Pumpkins, Within Temptation.

Books: I like what I've read by Haruki Murakami. Atlas Shrugged was interesting but a bit slow, The Zombie Survival Guide, the Steve Jobs. Biography, and a Howard Hughes biography (what a fascinating man...) Ready Player One was good although painfully awkward at times. The Origin Mystery series kept me occupied. I'm currently reading the Silo series.

Foods: I like to eat a decent variety of food types, and there are few things I really dislike. I like ethnic food like Thai food, Chinese food, Indian food and Japanese food (especially sushi). I also like cheese (which can be a challenging like for a vegetarian), raspberries, sorbet, frozen lemonade, smoothies, coffee, and tea, with the last two preferably cold and blended with ice. My favorite spice is rosemary, and I like the sweet and salty combination. Lately I've started enjoying spicy foods more due to the influence of friends.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I'd have to say companionship, change, the internet, hot showers, cold beverages, and some sort of mobile computer.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Life, current issues, the future, the present. Where it is I am going and where I want to be. How a tiny thing such as a word in a dating profile, sitting next to a certain arbitrary stranger, or leaving at a given time instead of several seconds earlier or later has the potential to completely change your life and is at the same time the most important and most insignificant detail of your life.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually watching a movie or playing games or something like that. Maybe out with friends. I love exploring Boston if I have a partner in non-crime.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My hand soap is in the shape of a fortune cookie.
People have compared me to the cast of Big Bang Theory.

This is such an awkward section. I could list what I'm looking for or say how awesome I supposedly am, but isn't that something people need to discover directly? Just message me... If you read this far, you probably want to to some degree, and what if I'm perfect for you? :)
