My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
It’s difficult to write about yourself concisely without appearing as a one-dimensional character. Every once in a while I get the muse to write this self-summary; I type up a small blurb that feels decent and genuine at that moment but ends up feeling cheesy or pretentious the next day. Nonetheless, I guess I should put something here other than the above.

I’m an introspective person. I’m very honest with myself and I think a lot about my thoughts and feelings. Addressing your internal conflicts head first is an important step towards inner peace. I’m a pretty empathetic dude and I try to be nice even to people I don’t like. Life is hard enough without someone shitting all over you… Science, mathematics and critical thinking are huge parts of my life. Don’t worry though, I’m far from being some stiff geezer. I like exploring the city on bikes, traveling, raves, adventures, shenanigans, junkyards, hilarious dogs , jazz, the tam tams, yak jerky and gypsy tears. Ok, I don’t really like the last two and I also like dogs that are not hilarious. Humour is an important part of my life and just like about every single person on earth, I believe that I’m pretty funny. Not to flatter myself, but if I had to somehow categorize my humour, I’d probably say it’s a cross of David Mitchell, Louis CK and Sacha Baron Cohen (excluding his terrible movies like The Dictator) type humour.

I’m on this site because I want to find someone who I really have a connection with. I don’t tend to build expectations and I don’t intend to jump into anything. I let my relationships with people develop naturally. Deciding prematurely what your relationship with a person should be is short sighted. Having said that, I’m open to anything that comes; friends and casual flings alike. I stress though that finding flings is really not the purpose of this account. I’m much better at finding them in person when I’m in need of one. :p
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Finishing up my physics degree at McGill and currently working as a research assistant in a lab. Possibly continuing to grad studies in computational neuroscience but it's still tentative. I usually have some tech related projects on the side when time permits.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
It feels a bit arrogant to claim that I'm really good at stuff. I'm pretty good at math, physics and just generally, thinking. I'm a decent guitar player, I'm a good debater, I'm good at fixing and building electronics and I'm great at procrastinating.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My unidentifiable mild accent and my Greek god physique. :D

I listen to a lot of jazz and jazz fusion (which branch out to many other genres), stuff like: Mahavishnu Orchestra, Return to Forever, Greg Howe, Guthrie Govan, Allan Holdsworth, Emerson Lake & Palmer, Weather Report, Jean Luc Ponty, Chick Corea, Casiopea, Frank Gambale, John Coltrane, Lenny Breau, pat Metheny, Charlie Parker and Miles Davis. I listen to less obscure stuff too. :p Stuff like Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Nirvana, Megadeth, Queen, to name a few..

I read loads every day but it's usually non-fiction and has lots of Greek letters (that don't form Greek words). Excluding technical science literature, I've enjoyed "What is Life?" by Schrodinger, Orwell's "1984" and "Animal Farm", Melville's "Moby Dick" and "Billy Bud", Toole's "Confederacy Of Dunces" and "Alice in Wonderland" by Carroll among others.

Shows: Game of Thrones, The Office, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Arrested Development, True detective, Peep Show, Louie, It's Always Sunny, The Simpsons and a few of Ricky Gervais shows, especially the ones that include Karl Pilkington.

Some of my favorite movies are Birdman, And Justice for All, Silence of the Lambs, Good Will Hunting, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, A Serious Man, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Pulp Fiction and Django Unchained.

I also love artistic animation. If it's dark, bizarre and/or thought provoking, I love it. Here are some examples:
