If my friends and family had the chance to describe me to you, they'd likely tell you that I'm witty, ambitious, loyal, light-hearted, hard-working, and intelligent. Then they'd tell you I'm a sarcastic jackass. All would be correct.

I'm an East Coast transplant who moved to Chicago for work. I want to go out and enjoy all that the city offers - restaurants, museums, dive bars, symphonies, movies, running or biking the lake front, plays or musicals, any sporting event you can imagine - I'm game for it all! I'm hoping to meet someone who wants to get out there and enjoy life together, and more importantly, enjoy each other's company. Chances are you have a crazy schedule. So do I. This is adulthood, I guess. But regardless of my long (and at times, odd) hours, I'm more than willing to take some time to get to know someone, and ultimately, to be in a relationship if that's where things go. This is a point of view that I hope you share.

Food: Chicken parm is by far my favorite dish, but any guy could win my heart with chinese food and a cold beer. I love to try new restaurants and different ethnic foods, but when all else fails, you'll find me in the kitchen making my Italian mother proud.

Movies: If Adam Sandler is in it, I love it. Other favorites: Dirty Dancing, A League of Their Own, The Goonies, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Shrek, A Christmas Story, The American President, Love Actually

Music: I'll admit it - I love broadway. But if I'm not listening to a show, then there's quite a variety: Billy Joel, Michael Buble, Frank Sinatra and all the old crooners, The Killers, Regina Spektor, Maroon 5, among others...

Books: anything Dan Brown, Harry Potter Series, Of Mice and Men, Nicholas Sparks. I also read the Red Eye daily. Now there's some quality journalism.

What's ever typical about Fridays? If it's been a long week, I love to curl up on my couch and relax for the evening. I'm more apt to go out on Saturdays... but nothing's ever black and white. Depends on who's asking me to join them :)

I really, really want to learn how to ballroom dance.
