My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hey, thanks for dropping by. My name is Josh. I'm a pretty regular guy, looking for a lady whose company I enjoy. I'm pretty intelligent but not an over-the-top intellectual, and that's kind of what I'm looking for. I love being outside, although not cold, so winter isn't my best friend. During the warmer months I can be found kayaking, boating, fishing, playing sports, and all-around enjoying the outdoors. I like going out with friends once or twice a week. I also enjoy picking up my guitar from time to time. Music is very important to me. That's just a little about me. Any questions, please feel free to ask!
What I’m doing with my life

Just trying to live and love life.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm pretty good at a lot of things, but not sure about really good...maybe being indecisive? Haha.
The first things people usually notice about me

My extremely outgoing personality. The fact I'm almost never seen in a bad mood.

I tend to read a lot of Vonnegut. I am also a huge fan of Catcher in the Rye, Catch 22, and A Clockwork Orange as well as anything else that tends to be required reading in most state approved English curriculums. As for music that list is practically endless. I can pretty much listen to anything. Regardless of genre, if something moves me in some way (lyrically, musically, or even just one little five second snippet that I love)...then it's good in my book.

Music - some examples:
Third Eye Blind, Bad Religion, Alkaline Trio, Bayside, Jimmy Eat World, Against Me!, Anti-Flag, Ryan Adams, The Ramones, Green Day, The Loved Ones, Angels and Airwaves, Rancid, Obie Trice, The Strays, Blink-182, The Living End, Talib Kweli, The Falcon, Matt Skiba, Dan Andriano, Chuck Ragan, Hot Water Music, Sundowner, The Lawrence Arms, The Hold Steady, Flogging Molly, Heavens, Kiss, The Bouncing Souls, The Clash, Reel Big Fish, Pearl Jam, Eve 6, Rival Schools, Weezer, The Get Up Kids, Box Car Racer, Ted Nugent, Dire Straits, The Raconteurs, Guns N' Roses, The Arctic Monkeys, Whiskeytown, The White Stripes, George Thorogood, Social Distortion, Sublime, Operation Ivy, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Mos Def, +44, John Mayer, Joe Strummer, Neil Diamond, Nas, Cheap Trick, Bon Jovi, One Man Army, Avoid One Thing, Say Anything

Movies - some more examples:
High Fidelity (my favorite of all time), Rent, Can't Buy Me Love, Mighty Ducks (all of them), South Park: Bigger, Longer, Uncut, Team America: World Police, Independence Day, Office Space, Beavis and Butt-head Do America, E.T., Bio-Dome, Airheads, Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, The Wedding Singer, The Motorcycle Diaries, The Royal Tennenbaums, Wedding Crashers, Old School, Hook, SLC Punk, Robocop (all of them), The Waking Life, Empire Records, Thelma and Louise (life's all about adventure!), Little Miss Sunshine, Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny, Clerks, Bull Durham, Grandma's Boy, Forest Gump, Garden State, Say Anything, When Harry Met Sally, Mall Rats, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (the old trilogy...badass)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

2)My family
3)Adventure

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
There is no certain list of things I spend a lot of time thinking about. I tend to let my mind wander often...so I'm always thinking about something different. I contemplate all sorts of issues and concepts and hypothetical situations...it gets me through. I crack myself up in my head all day long.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Could be out for dinner and drinks with friends, could be sitting around a fire in my backyard, could be hanging at home watching movies or catching up on my DVR.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have been to a nude beach in Bumfuck, Wisconsin. It was a bunch of old guys. I fell asleep on the sand and burned my ass terribly. I was also scared out of the water when I saw a small herd of baby snapping turtles and thought mama could be lurking near. I don't know...I'm really open. Ask me anything.
