A kind and gentle woman from the true North, Strong and Free. Who knows how to stoke a fire and melt the ice when she needs to.

I believe in creativity as the essence of life. We are all born under different circumstances, some with more apparent advantage than others. What we each have is the opportunity to create something unique from the ingredients of our desires, our circumstances and our talents – to enhance the beauty and goodness in the world. This how I try to guide my actions.

I have been extremely lucky to have had so many opportunities to study wonderful things, practice as an architect, travel to exotic places, paint, photograph, sculpt, build, lecture, learn, teach, write, volunteer, swim, sail, ski, and enjoy many other luxuries. I truly appreciate all that life has provided me thus far.

Knowing the right thing to do. Being in tune with others. Telling stories. Teaching and learning. Being creative. LEGO. Laughing. Asking questions and listening. Improvising in the kitchen. Kneading bread and making sculpture. Dreaming. Levitating unintentionally.
