I've been in San Diego for a year, and have really been enjoying it. I've gotten to know the area enough to not feel as if I'd just moved here. I'm originally from the East coast, and moved out to San Diego for work. This is not to say that I dislike the East coast and wanted to get away, but rather I wanted to try something new.

I think a lot of life is getting out to experience as much of it as you can with good people. I really like the outdoors, and am always up for hiking one of the many trails around San Diego. At the same time, going to concerts, comedy shows, or even a museum is always fun, too. There's not much I won't at least try once.

What I look for in a match ... I'm hoping to meet someone who I truly feel comfortable with regardless of what we're doing. It is important to me to be with someone who wants to get out to see and understand the world around them. Experiencing everything they can around them. However, I still enjoy just sitting around talking as well. Good conversation is very important and can make the best part of a relationship.

I'm in the U.S. Navy right now and have been for about 6 years since I graduated college. I get satisfaction from my job and put a lot of effort into it, but don't have any intention of making a lifelong career out of it. There are other jobs that I feel I would feel more excited about and more driven.

Knowing random and unimportant information. I really like going to trivia nights at bars or restaurants.

My sense of humor/I get a lot of happiness from the little things in life.

I really like watching movies of all different types. I enjoy comedy, action, science fiction, historical, and even horror films. I'll watch any movie once.
I enjoy Big Bang Theory, House, and True Blood, and HIMYM to name a few. I like watching Food Network too.
I love listening to music. I really like classic rock, oldies, and the 80's, but find myself enjoying newer music now that I never did before.
