My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Thanks for clicking! In short: I'm 27, grew up in the Dallas area, graduated from UT-Austin and now work as an editor for a news website.

First off, some honesty: I'm a bad Austinite. I'm not very hip, I don't care much for live music (except your garden-variety gay-explosion Robyn extravaganza), I'd give Barton Springs a B, and I could go the rest of my days without drinking another hemp-seed latte.

On the flip side (the best transition), I fancy myself an Austin foodie, despite my aversion to scary lattes. This, however, does not deter me from eating Torchy's several times a week. (Don't worry: I do cardio, and drink Diet Coke.)

Other likes: traveling, urbanism, Oscar bait, Dan Savage, sweater weather, Rachel Maddow, non-scary lattes

Anyway, I'm here, you're here, we're all queer. So let's do this thang.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work for a nonprofit news outlet in Austin that covers Texas politics (extra points if you can guess which one). I do a little writing but work primarily as a copy editor, spending much of my time ensuring the correct placement of commas, like that one right there. I'm a news and political junkie, as you might imagine.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Not knowing the difference between "fit" and "athletic."

you're a funny, good-looking smarty pants who does cool things. If you're a thinker, a lover, a doer, a fighter, a poet, a Nobel laureate.

Or just a really good dancer. That'll work, too.
