My self-summary
Hello there, my name is Brandon. I am an Electrical Engineering major at Auburn University, so my classes tend to keep me very busy. I have enjoyed them so far, so I guess you could say that I'm a bit of a science nerd. I find space fascinating, so I've taken up astronomy as a hobby recently, which I thoroughly enjoy. It would be awesome to find somebody to stargaze with.

I can say that, without a doubt, I am very introverted. I would rather spend a Friday night drinking coffee, at the bookstore, at the library, or even sitting at home watching a movie or reading a book. While I am an introvert, I would like to find some like minded people (believe me, that intorverts aren't that common here for some reason) to be friends with and possibly more.

I guess I might as well go ahead and put this out there but, I don't drink. I don't really care if other people do, as long as it doesn't get excessive.

Also, reading is a big deal for me. If I'm not in class you can usually find me sitting in the student center with a book in hand.
What I’m doing with my life
Like I said above, I am currently a student at Auburn University persuing a major in Electrical Engineering), so I stay pretty busy between work and school. Basically I don't really have time for too much of a social life, though I try to make time were I can.

I've decided that I really want to move west after I graduate. Maybe Colorado, Idaho, or somewhere near the Rocky Mountains would be my ideal place to live. The south just doesn't hold that much appeal to me, so I would really like to get out and experience something new for a change.
I’m really good at
1) Math
2) Observing people
3) Writing
4) History
5) Logic
6) Making Lists
The first things people usually notice about me
Could it be that I answer questions with a question?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I read a good bit, but here are some of my all time favorites so far.
1) Sherlock Holmes (both the original canon and numerous modern pastiches are excellent)
2) The Otto Prohaska series of novels. If you love good historic fiction, especially when it concerns an often forgotten part of world history, these are definitely worth a look.
3) Storm of Steel
4) The Mysterous Island
5) The Case for Mars

Movies:
1) Star Wars (The Empire Strikes Back being the absolute favorite out of the whole series)
2) Shawshank Redemption
3) Pulp Fiction
4) Office Space
5) Monty Python and the Holy Grail
6) Downfall

Music:
Let's just say that I have a particular fondness of 80's rock and classical music. I couldn't tell you why, honestly.

Food:
1) Chinese/Japanese (most Asian cuisine is fine in my book)
2) pizza
3) Almost anything from Zaxby's (I have a strange addiction to this place for some reason)
4) Tex-Mex
5) steak
The six things I could never do without
1.) air conditioner. Pretty self explanatory.
2.) books
3.) Coffee. Lately since I've started at Auburn, I find that I can't seem to function as well without some form of caffeine.
4.) internet
5.) shower
6.) my pocket notebook, it really helps to be able to write my thoughts down at any time or just to remember something.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Mostly about engineering and school related things, books that I'm reading, space exploration, the average velocity of an unladen swallow (African or European).
On a typical Friday night I am
It's pretty much guaranteed that I'll be working, though sometimes I will get the occasional Friday night off.

Avoiding the Helvetica Scenario.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
That I wasn't expecting this sort of Spanish Inquisition.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 18–25
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating, long-distance penpals
You should message me if
You are a nerd. That or you at least like nerds because I definitely am one.

If you have a telescope or would like to go stargazing together. I would love to have a companion to go with.

You are looking for a serious relationship. I'm just wanting to find someone that I can have something somewhat long term with, but if it doesn't work out that way, friends are great too.

Also, if we have something in common; it would be great to meet like-minded people.
