My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
When I was in high school I was in the "Mr. Case" contest, which is like Mr. America for my high school. My question in the question/answer portion was describe yourself in 3 words, I answered "fun loving friend." I feel that is still an accurate description. I enjoy life to the fullest, rarely passing up an opportunity for fun. I'm easy going looking for someone to enjoy life with. I'm often told I'm a funny guy, not to mention witty and charming, and well, that's all true ;) I'm looking for someone who's serious about a relationship. That's not to say I'm looking to rush into things, but I'm looking for someone that wants to put in the effort it takes to have a successful happy relationship. I have a wide variety of interests, anything outdoors: camping, biking, golf, tennis, gardening. I enjoy a wide variety of music. I love the festival scene around SE Wisconsin in the summer, Summerfest being my favorite. It's actually one of my favorite places in the world. It's my Disneyworld :) I enjoy sports, both watching and playing: Go Crew, Go Pack!!! I enjoy cooking, and I'm good at it, you'd like my food. I'm an intelligent, open-minded, charismatic guy with a good sense of humor. I'm often told I'm easy to be around. If there's one thing I've learned in life, it's take everything in stride and it will all work out.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm making my way through life always on the lookout for the next adventure. Not focusing so much on the future that I miss the wonders of today. That's not to say I don't plan for tomorrow too. I'm currently going back to school to be an RN. Turns out what I wanted to be when I grew up isn't what I want to table that first degree and get another :) It's amazing the adventures life can take you on if you let it. I own my own home so I'm always doing some sort of home maintenance project. I live a block off the lake which I love, and right by the zoo. I can see giraffes from my front yard. Not a lot of people can say that.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making others laugh. Listening. Cooking. Finding fun things to do. Breathing. Conversation. Being lazy. Being productive. Yeah, both. I'm a complex individual ;) Being a fun Uncle. Carpentry/home projects. The little things.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My easy-going demeanor/sense of humor. That I'm older than I look. It's the baby face, which I love, never have to shave. Once a week whether I need it or not ;p
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Things Fall Apart by Chinhua Achebe, anything Vince Flynn, political/historical fiction, Kitchen Confidential by Anthony Bourdain, Where the Red Fern Grows, it's the only book I've ever cried at the end of. What can I say, I was 11 and it was a story about a boy and his dogs, that'll tug at the heart strings.

Movies: Willy Wonka (the original), 80's John Cusack, Silence of the Lambs, Carlito's Way.

TV: all time favs Cheers and The Shield, anything AMC or F/X, no reality

Music: I'm really all over the board here. Grateful Dead, my fav, Neil Young, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Tom Petty ,Bob Marley, well all the Marley's really, Peter Tosh, Jimmy Cliff, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, Beastie Boys, Tribe Called Quest, Dre, Snoop, Ice Cube, Biggie, Al Green, Marvin Gaye, Foo Fighters, Black Keyes, Hall & Oates, Lyrics Borne, Galactic, Robert Randolph, Yonder Mountain String Band, you get it, most anything, except Death Metal. I really love music. It's tames the savage beast in all of us ;p
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Family/friends
2. Music
3. Travel
4. Oxygen (it's true)
5. Food. Not the nourishment of it, the enjoyment.
6. Showers. I'm crabby til I get one.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Everything. Literally. I'm a day dreamer
On a typical Friday night I am

Looking forward to a cold one.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

You're looking for a funny, smart, easy going guy. I'm pretty laid back and just looking to enjoy life. If this sounds like you, except for the guy part, we should talk.
