I am an easy going, honest and open minded person looking for someone special to share life's adventures. I believe I've had enough of the bar and club scene. I'd much rather meet a great woman in a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere - the library, the supermarket :), the gym, church, in a cooking class. I spend so much time at work and home that I've forgotten that there is fun stuff out there - I need to get out in the world!

I would love the company of a woman who can enjoy a walk in the park, a ball game, a night watching TV or a night on the town. Someone who I enjoy spending time with no matter the activity. Someone who is comfortable in her own skin in her favorite little black dress or her comfortable jeans. Someone who's a little "seasoned" - has been through some life experience and can tell some good stories.

Like I said, I'm a pretty easy going guy. I've been told I'm the type of person that strangers will stop and ask for directions (and spare change sometimes). I don't scare away children and small animals and I'm the one you can bring home to meet grandma (or abuelita).

Movies: The Princess Bride, Field of Dreams, Clerks (pretty much all the Kevin Smith movies), Back to the Future I, II, III, the Blues Brothers, Boondock Saints, the Shawshank Redemption, High Fidelity, A Few Good Men, Secondhand Lions, the Silence of the Lambs - what usually qualifies as a favorite movie for me is that I will usually watch it if I see it on TV (sometimes even if I own it)....is that weird?

Books: Jim Butcher's "Dresden Files" series, Anne Rice's Vampires Chronicles, The Bourne series, A lot of Stephen King, James Michener, Faye & Tony Kellerman, Dean Koontz and many more.

Music: my preferences are varied. Lately I've been into classic rock, but I do love 80's and 90's stuff. I like country and some rap although I prefer old school stuff like Run DMC, Public Enemy, Whodini, early LL Cool J (man, I'm showing my age)

Podcasts(haven't seen what people are listening to besides the stuff above)

Adam Carolla, Smodcast (Kevin Smith), Greg Proops, WTF, Mohr Stories, the Crab Feast.....I drive a lot and podcasts are great on the road

Food: I love Cajun, Caribbean, Mexican, Italian, Chinese. I had a bad sushi experience, but I'm willing to try again with the right coach.
