The Hobbit is my all time favorite book and I'm quite pleased with
what peter Jackson is doing with the movies. I enjoy reading and do
so when I can find the time. I read a lot of Stephen King, and I'm
slowly wading my way through A Game of Thrones, as well as The
Necronomicon (H.P. Lovecraft version, not the satanic one...).
Michael Crichton is also up there on my favorite authors if only
because of the amount of novels of his I read in high school. Oh! I
can't forget The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, absolutely
FANTASTIC books... Also most things written by Jules Verne, and
Edgar Allan Poe.
As far as movies are concerned, Godzilla has consumed a lot of my
viewing time. I mean, there's 28 of them... and I intend to watch
all of them. But outside of the Big-G, i like my sci-fi/horror
monster movies. I also like my fair share of Superhero movies,
though they are numerous. Peter Jackson is the man, and so is
Speilberg. if I had to pick a favorite movie of mine, though, it
would have to be the ORIGINAL Piranha, because Joe Dante is
This topic is hard because I like and watch so many movies that
it's not even funny... I don't JUST watch monster movies, but that
is my go-to genre. Quentin Tarantino is pretty cool, and (mostly)
anything involved with Robert Rodriguez is going to be amazing,
with the exception of a couple things. Wes Anderson is cool too.
and also Sam Raimi (EVIL DEAD FTW)... And Guillermo Del Toro...
Also I'm pretty hardcore about roger Corman, the dude's
I don't watch too much TV, but when I do it's usually for something
along the lines of How I met your Mother, Wilfred, The Walking
Dead, or Shark Week. Hmm... Now that i think about it, I've been
watching a lot of Star Trek lately (the original series) as well as
Dinosaurs on Netflix... Oh! And Community! Can't forget about
Community (except for season 4...)! Colbert...
I also find myself playing a good amount of video games. I'm not as
hardcore as some, but my 3DS is usually not to far from where I am,
loaded up with Monster Hunter, Pokemon, or the like.
I have a somewhat eclectic taste in music. I'm not a fan of the
majority of pop (but to be honest, occasionally something in the
top 40 will strike my interest.) I enjoy discovering new music. I
usually listen to Classic rock, Industrial, or the soundtrack/score
to my favorite films (John Powell and Howard Shore are
AMAZING!!)... I also listen to some swing, 90s alternative, metal,
and bad music so terrible that it's entertaining.
As far as food goes, I like things that i cook for myself, and
really love it when others cook for me. i like spicy things like
and things with lots of flavor. I tend to stay away from the scary
lookin' veggies, but I'm open to trying anything new.
