First, I would like to say if you visit my profile and like what you see or read, drop me a note I can answer! I won't bite (maybe)!! I really am interested in meeting someone, but I have to be able to make some sort of small talk with you. Visitors are nice, but I probably won't say hi first. So take a chance, guys... I'd like more than "hi" or "want to meet?"... You just might get one word answers if you send one or two word messages.

Now for my self-summary... Not too sure what to say, but here goes:
I don't look or act my age. I like dancing, riding my scooter, karaoke, walking in the park or on the beach, LOVE to go out to dinner, movies (either out or in). I can have fun almost anywhere. And now that the weather is getting warmer, I'm itching to get out on the bike whenever I have some time.
I love to play Texas Hold'em Poker. It's a lot of fun, and keeps me occupied. I actually work a couple of games every week. I also sing karaoke a few times a week, and have been told I'm pretty good. It's so much fun!!
I consider myself to be fairly attractive, but not high maintenance. I grew up with brothers, so I do NOT hog the bathroom (ok, maybe for 10 minutes)! With me, what you see is basically what you get.
I'm looking for someone who wants to be friends, and hopefully more: someone who is willing to take a chance on the future. Someone with the same skewed sense of humor as I have. Someone who enjoys laughing at himself, me and everything else.

I've worked in printing/advertising most of my life. Right now I'm freelancing as a production artist for a temp agency. I also work one or two Texas hold'em poker tournaments a week. I love to play, so I enjoy the fact that I can get paid a little spending money while I'm at it.
I enjoy volunteering for ACS, A Woman's Place (battered women's shelter) and my church. I do graphics for my church, as well as Sunday volunteering. I have also recently contacted The Breathing Room, a foundation for cancer patients and families, to do some graphic work for them. I feel it is important to give back.

Sci-Fi, Thriller, Mystery, and Romance books are among my favorites. About the only thing I don't read are biographies and autobiographies. Steven King, Anne Rice, Joseph Wambaugh, Debbie Macomber and many other authors are in my collection.

Music is a large part of my life, as I love to dance and sing. I love country and other dance music. About the only type of music I don't enjoy is rap... I don't get it.

As for movies: I would rather see a comedy, thriller, action, or sci-fi movie if there's a good one out there. Among my favorite movies are (in no particular order) Cars, The X-Men, Wild Hogs (a stupidly funny movie, especially if you ride), The Rock, Dirty Dancing (the first one).

Food: My favorites are Seafood, Italian, Chinese, and pizza. I've recently started cutting many sugars and meats out of my diet. I'm trying to eat healthier. I haven't been in a fast food restaurant in over 5 years, except for Bryn and Dane's "Healthy" fast food. Free range and organic... it was pretty good.

I don't have typical Friday nights. I could be out with friends, at a friend's house, or doing something fun. But it probably involves karaoke at some point.
