When I'm not working, you'll find me reading books, watching movies and trying to mix the perfect Cosmopolitan or Classic Daikiri.
I also need to find the time to learn a new skill, preferably Sign Language (something I have been meaning to do for a very long time!), cooking (as in cooking course because I can already hold my own), Magic (especially Illusionism / Mentalism but it is so hard...). Oh... and learning functional programming too! :D
Actually, I would truly enjoy learning almost any new skill. I've tried a few and I never get tired of learning new stuff!
Professionally, it would be computers and engineering. I seriously like to find ingenious and creative solutions to any problem that I come across. That's why I'm always having fun thinking and working on almost anything!
I also mix some damn good Daikiris :) and apparently I'm good at giving massages because people tend to ask me where/how have I learned.
I also like to learn details and trivia about almost anything, so I could define myself as a good listener because I am always eager and ready to get something new in my head. Just tell me a nice story or a weird fact and don't look surprised if I keep asking you for the details! :)
Books: I come from a very book-loving family. When I've been with friends visiting my parents, they always look perplexed when I show them their library and my childhood room there, with the walls covered in books :) Thus, it is very hard to find a book that I don't like. When I was a kid I used to read mystery books (Sherlock Holmes was my favourite) and now I have also liked very much the Harry Potter series (my close friends find that weird for some reason :-?). I lately find psychology, economics and most layman science books quite fun to read (The undercover Economist, Malcom Gladwell's books, etc...) but I also like novels (if only I had more spare time to read! :-/)
Finally, I love reading the awesome Feynman autobiographic stories and I would swear on my "Complete Calvin & Hobbes" special edition (my brother is Calvin and I'm Hobbes!) or my "Todo Mafalda" bible :)
Movies: generally I enjoy thrillers and mystery movies, especially those that involve a robbery or a con :) And when I'm going to the movies, I try to avoid deep or very sad movies (I mostly go looking for entertainment). I don't want to be sad when I leave the cinema and I think that those kind of movies are better left for home and especially better if I can discuss them with other people after watching them.
Food: I love eating and generally, I don't mind any type of food. I enjoy discovering new tastes and different restaurants. But, above all, I certainly enjoy Asian food (especially Japanese, Thai, Indonesian and Korean dishes). I can also hold my own in the kitchen and I am good at following recipes / helping the main cook :)
Music: my taste is quite eclectic and I choose genre depending on my mood. From classical music to vocal trance, I can listen to almost anything. But I always try to get the music that makes me feel the most at the time I'm listening.
