I am random, driven, and sensitive.

My Self-Summary

Hmm, self summary, Well, if I don't tell enough about myself, I'm shy. If I tell too much I'll be a braggadocio... Where to draw the line?

I prefer to actually talk to people, to have a human interaction, whether in person, on the phone or over msn. Laying it all out on some webpage seems awfully formal, kind of like a resume, which I guess this sort of is. We are on here trying to impress people we don't know to get a job of sorts.

I guess using that as a lead in is a good start. Sometimes I think of a relationship like a job. It can be joyful, sometimes onerous, but if you do it properly you can always take pride in having tried your best.
Lol, distilling the science of love and attraction down to a shitty analogy about work really doesn't make me sound like an exciting guy, but trust me, I still know how to be adventurous and witty, spontaneous and charming.

What I’m doing with my life

Things change and things stay the same... I am currently a telecom administrator for a large entertainment company.
If it rings, it's my baby, I've got around 2700 telephones and faxes.
The job itself probably isn't too exciting to discuss, but it comes loaded with perks.
There are about 2500 events that we host each year, so something is always going on and it sure keeps me out of trouble.

I’m really good at

telling baudy jokes and cooking. I think those are two of my favorite and best talents... they go together fairly well too. I could host a tv cooking show and be just as foul mouthed as Ramsay, but actually get things done.

The first things people usually notice about me

usually my smile or my eyes or how good I look with a shaven head.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books are a large part of my life, I read for pleasure more than education, but I enjoy learning something every day.
I haven't really got a favorite book, but I have been reading a series by Dewey Lambdin, fiction based on the English navy and a character named Alan Lewrie. Good stuff, entertaining and engaging.

Movies... movies, I used to watch so many, but lately I just never seem to get around to it. I just saw Kung Fu Panda last night, what a great date movie, it has something for everyone. Violence, action, humor...
Normally I stick the the man's favorites, action and gross comedy, but with the right company I'll even sit through sappy romances.

My musical tastes run the gamut, and I refuse to lay them out in a web page for people to judge and heckle, if you want to know why I think Beethoven is better than Puddle of Mudd, send off a message and we can hash it out. :)

Food... oh beloved food! My appetite is driven by cravings and desires, I go on kicks and will or won't eat certain foods for months at a time, then I dive in and will refuse to eat almost anything else.
However, I believe in only eating good food.
Why eat McDonalds when for about the same price you can get a good burger from a real restaraunt??
It costs me about $10 to eat some McDonalds junk, but I can go to the Sawmill and get a buffalo burger with side and soda for around $15.
Sure it's $5 more, but it's better!
I'm not gonna go into the health side of things, because I think people are too fixated on eating healthy.
WHO CARES?!? You are going to die anyways. Eat healthy, but if you want that slice of cake for dessert or if you want fries with your clubhouse, do it. Indulging once in a while will make you guilty, which means you will go out and excercise.
Eating healthy all the time will make you complacent, bitter and lazy.... I'd rather be happy and 4 pounds overweight.

The six things I could never do without

1) My car and a full tank of gas

2) My friends and family

3) A pocket knife

4) Music

5) Something beautiful to look at, be it art, a smile or a mountain vista.

6) Money. It sucks, but the world revolves around money. Money is like cancer: it is equally important to both those who have it and those who don't!

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Random stuff, it moves past too quickly to catalog, but what do you call a group of squirrels?
You've got gaggles of geese, packs of dogs, herds of horses... what is the name for a group of squirrels?

On a typical Friday night I am

Out and about.
Life is too short to let it slip by, I believe in spending time with my friends and loved ones.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I prefer women. Not just sexually, but I prefer the company of women to men.

You should message me if

If anything I've said here has interested you, or if you dig bald guys.
