I am strange, top, and charm.

My Self-Summary

I am just this guy. I'm a fan of casual use of scientific terms (quarks, above), heavy metal, and things not of this world. And brevity!
Now in German
Muss ich jetzt mehr schreiben? Ich habe Deutsch für vier Jahren im Schüle gestudiert, und wieder nach Universität. Gut genug? Ihre Englisch ist wahrscheinlich besser als meine Deutsch.

What I’m doing with my life

Life ain't nothin' but coding and money. Well, just coding, maybe.

I’m really good at

Paying attention to detail to the detriment of the big picture.

The first things people usually notice about me

It's hard to tell from my perspective, but I sometimes fear that I appear too nervous when I meet people. Which equates to worrying about worrying, but I think I've been doing better lately. Also, I'm tall.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

When I get around to reading, I tend to choose fiction. So, fantasy (either epic or silly, such as Discworld), cyberpunk, sci-fi, or modern fate-of-the-world type drama. Well-done historical fiction has proven to be good, too. A few authors off the top of my head would be Neal Stepherson, Terry Pratchett, Tom Clancy (although haven't read much lately), J.R.R. Tolkien, William Gibson, etc etc.

I kinda tend towards action movies, especially if they don't take themselves too seriously. Also like drama, suspense, mystery, supernatural creepiness, uh... Well, see what I like to read, above. Titles include Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels, Demolition Man, Equilibrium, Way of the Gun, Kill Bill, Day of the Jackal... Not too wide of a range - I'll have to think of more later.

The six things I could never do without

Music, coffee, friends, games, travel, and (interesting) food.

On a typical Friday night I am

Rolling dice, and I don't mean just the six-sided kind.

You should message me if

You like to make jokes based on only a loose understanding of quantum physics.
