highly aesthetic, which is just a diplomatic way of saying how vain i am.

unyieldingly particular about some things. completely indifferent about others. one of many contradictions in my life.

southpaw, which means my logic is flawless, but i'm from another planet.

i'm a smart ass. this gets me in trouble often. people still seem to love me.

serious cook. living the dream and surrounding myself with people who are better than me so i can be better than me.

besides cooking... in no particular order, debating, getting home intact whilst blackout drunk, petting cats, play dates, eating pounds of food in a sitting, shotgunnery, having tourists ask me for directions, crossing streets diagonally, being inappropriate but cute enough that it's endearing, and pretty much everything, especially humility.

the hair, the glasses, and devious smile. i also list myself as 5'5" because all of my gov't issued ids let me get away with saying i'm that tall. i'm short, but give me a few minutes of facetime and you won't care.

Books: Vonnegut, other stories in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy saga, classic French cooking things for menu development aka homework, permanently On Food and Cooking
Movies: Django Unchained made for a nice Jewish Christmas and Silver Linings Playbook made me smile big. It's been too long since I've been to the movies. This makes me sad in the pants and elsewheres
Shows: I can't bring myself to commit the time it takes to follow great shows so I basically only watch sports, but usually I just read -- by that I probably mean drink. I'm on a new, I don't need Netflix in my life kick. I'm probably wrong
Music: I like it all, but don't have it playing every waking moment. The sounds of life are pretty cool too
Food: The crew at Lafayette is killing it, and a recent meal at Chez Sardine kicked a lot of ass
