As far as books go, I'm a complete
Classics geek and a specialist in
epic poetry. I
rarely go anywhere near contemporary literature, though when I do
it tends to be the typical
action stuff. If it's not for work, it's
usually going to be something close to what I study, or some sort
of
non-fiction
about a topic I'm interested in.
Movies? When I was younger I was addicted to
anime, though now I have fairly normal
tastes, usually settling for
action or
comedy. I'm very open to suggestions
though, and love to try new things.
As for shows, I don't actually have a TV (being a student), so I
never really watch newer things. I'm quite keen on the latest stuff
on BBC IPlayer, such as Dr Who, Merlin, Have I Got News For You and
QI, though TV is hardly a big part of my life.
Living in Oxford, I have access to lots of fantastic
Classical Music
whenever I feel like seeing something spectacular, and I love
opera. Strangely
enough, I actually love
Heavy Metal, though I find most
modern stuff to be fairly crappy. Recent
Power Metal and its derivatives
aren't too bad, though.
As far as food goes, I am a sucker for new and exciting things. I
love
Indian food of
all kinds, mainly due to the experimentalism involved in producing
the flavours. If it's interesting, I'll like it (probably).
