Your Notes

I am facially expressive, animated, and proudly progressive.

My Self-Summary

I grew up in Utah and went to high school in Texas, though I can't say that I was sad to bid goodbye to either state. I prefer living in places like D.C. than in the heartland because I'm really into progressive politics -- some might say obsessively so.

I'm also a big fan of tofu, crossword puzzles, running, and going out to brunch -- just to name a few interests.

What I’m doing with my life

Spending far too much time obsessing over all news stories about Max Baucus while working for a progressive non-profit in D.C.

The first things people usually notice about me

My sense of humor. It's a winner.

The six things I could never do without

Girl Scout cookies -- specifically, thin mints; Google and all its wonderful products, including Gmail, Gchat, Google Reader, etc.; casual Friday; the snooze button; Nate Silver (Seriously, how did people survive without him?); running shorts with built in underwear.

On a typical Friday night I am

Watching a movie with friends, sharing a bottle of wine; out on the town; or being a nerd and playing a board game.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I go to really bad action/adventure movies just for the adrenaline rush at the end.

You should message me if

You're in the D.C. area and wouldn't mind grabbing a drink at some point.
