My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I consider myself quite unique in mostly good ways. I have a wide range of interests, from music to cooking and word games. Actually, I just like to do things. I'm fine with staying in and having a chill night sometimes, but I'd usually rather be out at a show or getting food or drinks or bowling or something.

I love the music scene. I like going to shows of all kinds. I also go to lots of Twins games, and I will always cheer for my hapless Vikings.

I traveled a lot growing up (43 states 9 countries) and that's something I'd like to get back into. I haven't left the country in over a decade! What am I doing?! I've been all over the world but I've never wanted to live anywhere but here. Very few cities have as many trees as we do, and there's something about that which pleases me.

What's up with people putting their Meyers-Briggs type in their profiles? Do people actually think it means anything? If you do, I would love to debate that point with you.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working for the man. I like my job, but honestly it's just a job. It's what I do to be able to afford things that I enjoy doing.

Outside of work, thinking of what additional education I might still be interested in. Automation is getting pretty cool these days (nerd alert), and I do some stuff with it at work already. Could be a possibility.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Driving. Am I the only one who still enjoys it?
Teasing you and being teased, perhaps for being a nerd.
I'm also good at card games, scrabble, quick math, and ultimate frisbee.
I've also become good at cooking. My jambalaya is incredible.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've been told that my size is intimidating more than a few times. I'm not that tall, but I have broad shoulders, I guess. Other than that, I can be a little quiet, especially around people I don't really know. However I warm up quickly. I'm sure lots of dudes say that, but it's true.

Also, glasses, and I have a deep voice that apparently is surprising to some people. Not as deep as Barry White though.

Music is very important to me. I'll listen to just about all music (except modern country) but rock is my favorite: Led Zeppelin, the Who, the Doors, Pearl Jam, Guns n' Roses, Pink Floyd, Primus, Fugazi, Clutch, Beck, Queens of the Stone Age, Rage, the Allman Brothers, the Rolling Stones, Phish and the Dead, to name a few of my more common influences. Really into Minus the Bear right now.

I also love the jazz station (88.5). And if you haven't tried Grooveshark, do it. It's free.

If you don't listen to the same music as me, don't worry about it. I don't think that liking the same media is a necessary link in a relationship and it's a little silly to have a section for it in your profile. But it's something to talk about, I guess.

Movies: Lawrence of Arabia, Happy Gilmore, Shawshank, Lebowski, Star Wars (the originals), Crimson Tide, Red October, Spinal Tap, South Park, most kung fu and anything by Mel Brooks.

Shows: Classic Simpsons, Family Guy, South Park, Sopranos, the Wire, Lost, Sealab, Space Ghost, Mad Men, Boardwalk Empire, interesting documentaries.

Good food makes me happy. Specifically, spicy food makes me happy. I will eat anything at a restaurant that claims to be spicy just to prove that it isn't. I like Pad Thai, Creole, large burritos, large steaks, sushi, seafood, and really anything exotic or anything I haven't tried. I love the variety of restaurants in Minneapolis.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Spicy food, frisbee, football, rock and roll, my friends, and my crazy cat.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Words that are misused or overused. My top two are currently:

Ridiculous (overused)
Literally (overused and often misused)

Any other suggestions for this list?

Also I'm thinking about how to fix the Twins...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually hanging with my people. I have the best group of friends, to whom I'm very loyal. I value that trait. When I go out I like low-key places with good music. I don't like to dress up and I don't like most places downtown. Too expensive with bad tunes and shitty people, for the most part.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Sometimes I read about history on Wikipedia. I start on one page, and follow links to things I don't know about. Yeah, I'm like that...
You should message me if
