I can't believe I'm giving in to this whole internet meeting people thing... Well here goes...

I graduated from college last May, and am currently working at a group home for teenage girls who are on probation, which is the most stressful job ever, and I end up working about 50 hours a week, but it's all good. I also volunteer for a rehabilitation program at San Quentin Prison, which I absolutely love, and plan to go to graduate school for Social Work and Criminology sometime in the near future. I love traveling and studied abroad twice in college; once was sailing on a ship around the world, and once was to South Africa to work with street children. I enjoy going out with my friends and getting a drink or two some nights, and also staying in with Chinese take-out and a movie on other nights. I am always down to go to a concert, or go on a road trip. Overall, I love the simple things in life like a beautiful sunset, people watching, or sour patch kids.

What I’m doing with my life

Attempting to stop our country from further going down a vicious cycle of crime and incarceration to our poorest citizens. Seriously.

listening, and coaching my friends' through their life crises. That tends to be my role.
