My self-summary
Just a cool dude with too many hobbies, looking for other people to do stuff with.
What I’m doing with my life
Currently a PhD student in Mathematics at the University of Liverpool. When I'm not doing that I'm learning to draw, and how to spin poi in an aesthetically pleasing fashion. I am also trying to pick up German again.
The first things people usually notice about me
I actually polled my friends about this, and the most common answer was my facial hair, apparently it's quite distinctive.

My facial hair has been compared to such greats as:
- King Charles I
- Errol Flynn
- Johnny Depp

So if you consider at least one of the above persons to be particularly alluring, well then I may just be the one for you.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
- The house on the Borderland - William Hope Hodgson
A really atmospheric weird fiction tale in the vein of H.P Lovecraft.
- A scanner darkly - Phillip K Dick.
I like classic sci-fi, and Phillip K Dick in particular. This one isn't really that sci-fi but I like it as it is one of Dick's most personal works. (The movie is pretty good also).

- Brick.
A really well done neo-noir movie. Also I love Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
- Drive.
I love it cause it's a really well done & styling crime movie with an awesome electo soundtrack.
- Mobile Police Patlabor 2: The Movie. The other atmospheric & arty animated movie about robots by Oshii Mamoru.

Tortoise, Toro Y Moi, Slint, Kayo Dot, Miles Davis, Brian Eno, Herbie Hancock & Squarepusher to name a few.

-Yokohama Kaidashi Kiko. Even though it hasn't been officially translated I want a copy of the books just for the art.
- Nausicaa of the valley of the wind.

Haibane Renmei, Kaiba, Cowboy Bebop, Eve no Jikan just to name a few.

Video Games:
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (for nostalgia mainly)
FTL: Faster than Light (Favorite of last year)
The Stanley Parable.

A toss between "Venture bros" or "Adventure time", of the ones I follow at the moment. Also making my way through Breaking Bad, as is mandatory for someone my age.
The six things I could never do without
- My guitar
- Moments of peace and quiet
- Pizza
- Animal buddies
- Art galleries.
- Lie ins
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What living with synaesthesia is like. That must be pretty cool.
On a typical Friday night I am
Pub with friends, or watching a movie at home. I KNOW THAT'S NOT VERY EXCITING BUT SHUT UP WHO ARE YOU TO JUDGE????????? 0_O.

If you have some better ideas on how to spend a friday night, why not message me, and we'll make plans ;). However, sitting at home with a good movie and a hot cup of something is pretty hard to beat, not gonna lie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I know what R.A.C.K & S.S.C stand for. That may or may not be a very subtle hint.

(If you think the idea of tying up guys with rope is hot at hell, that may or may not be a point in your favor. That's the unsubtle hint)
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 19–29
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
