My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My name is Darius!

Some good words rhyme with Darius : precarious, hilarious, gregarious... That's it actually. I guess I'll never be a rapper. If that's a deal-breaker, you came to the wrong place and I am sorry for wasting your time.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I shove Science into my computer until numbers burst out, then I give those numbers to whoever asked for them and they're all "Are you sure?" so I have to find a diplomatic way of saying "Shut up you don't know Science".

Also I have been known to jump out of planes, swim with the fishes and generally scoff at my own biology. So basically : solving problems and almost dying.

Current plan is finish doing the former (i.e. graduate) then go spend six months travelling around doing the latter.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
- Explaining things through odd analogies
- Absentminded-ly beat-boxing
- Invigilating exams
- Keeping my laundry hamper in my closet so sometimes clothes slide into it off the hangers and I don't notice until I'm folding said article of clothing.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
- I'm tall.
- I speak fast. I blame my Jamaican babysitter.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

BOOKS: Early Crichton books were pretty great - The Great Train Robbery, the Andromeda Strain, etc. Sci-fi over fantasy 4life, despite the fact that "because nanomachines" is pretty much the same narrative device as "because magic".

MOVIES/SHOWS : I don't watch much, and when I do it's cartoons. This is because, deep down, I wish it was Saturday morning in the '90s forever.

MUSIC/FOOD/MUSIC : All the things.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
- Something to read
- Something to listen to
- Some kind of project
- Comfy pants
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why would anyone ever buy one-ply toilet paper?! You spend 30 more cents and you get a product better in literally every way imaginable. You're not even saving paper, you just have to use twice as many sheets for the same effect! Seriously some people are the worst.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
One of my plants grew too well and I think it killed my other plant. I have no proof, but I live every day in fear thinking I might be next.

I am also deathly afraid of revolving doors.
