I am contemplative, misunderstood, and adventurous.
My Self-Summary
What a magnificent little box of condescension this is! It's like a
little digital thing sitting there saying "Alright, explain who you
are in words..... go!". How can one truly get across who they are
in such a little space? It's very intimidating. I guess i'll give
it a go and try not to say too much.
'ello! I'm 25 and i've lived in Rochester my whole life. I'm just a
guy who tries to enjoy life as it comes. I work M-F, 8-5 so nights
and weekends are a special kind of awesome to me. I love spending
time with my best friends and family (who doesn't?). My hobbies are
a tad bit geeky because I can be a tad bit geeky at times.
As long as there's people around me that I care about, i'm happy
doing pretty much anything. But I also enjoy my alone time spent
reading, writing, and relaxing. I spend a LOT of time walking
beaches (cliche for a site like this, I know. But it's the truth),
piers, and nice neighborhoods pondering important and not so
important issues. I have a tendency to think way too hard on
things. I haven't yet decided if that's an admirable characteristic
or not.
If I had my way i'd stay in a child's mindset for the rest of my
days. But i'm not so naive as to think that's healthy and do it.
But gee golly, I love sitting on a swingset, playing with toys,
doing things like mini golf, and walking around with an ice cream
cone in my hand. But don't make the mistake of confusing my love of
the days when I used to play "tag" as immaturity. I consider myself
to be down to earth and wise beyond my years.
I tend to have a little more confidence than most sometimes (at
least that's what I put on). I really don't feel the need to
impress anyone. I'm proud of who I am. If you don't like me you
won't see me put much effort into changing your mind.
Shit, I think I said too much.
What I’m doing with my life
I work from 8-5, Monday through Friday in my formal wear. I sit at
a desk in the office of a law firm downtown doing a number of tasks
ranging anywhere from mundane to hair-pulling stress levels. But,
hey, I get nights and weekends free!
I’m really good at
Karaoke. Bring it.
In all seriousness (even though I was serious about the karaoke
bit), I like to think of myself as a good listener.
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably my hair
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
a.) I, honestly, don't do enough reading. But when I do, I read a
lot of brainless things. The last book I read was "Heart Shaped
Box" by Joe Hill. I also very much enjoyed "The Da Vinci Code". I
also enjoy autobiography's quite a bit. Especially athletes.
b.) I REALLY love movies. Especially going to movies. I even love
the terrible smell that popcorn makes in theaters. For
serious.
I just saw Star Trek and it was awesome! I've never been big on the
whole Trekkie scene, but that movie was incredible. On the same
token, I was ridiculously disappointed in X-Men Origins. Seriously,
how can you have Deadpool and Gambit in a movie and still make it
suck? It just doesn't make sense I tell you! That being said:
Transformers I-II, Boondock Saints, Kagen no Tsuki, Field of
Dreams, Iron Man, The Wrester, Mystic River, Frost/Nixon, The Dark
Knight, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, Purple Rain, The Evil
Dead Trilogy, Halloween I & II, Repo!: The Genetic Opera, Role
Models, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, I Love You, Man
If you're reading this and enjoy Russell Brand, we're off to a
great start.
c.) When it comes to music, I think it would be easier to ask what
I don't like rather than what I do. But to give you an idea, i'll
list the 6 CD's that are currently in my car CD changer:
1.) Muse - "The Resistance"
2.) AFI - "Crashlove"
3.) Anberlin - "New Surrender"
4.) Kill Hannah - "For Never and Ever"
5.) Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - "Howl"
6.) the Sunstreak - "Once Upon a Lie"
I also have a rather ridiculous affinity for Japanese Rock music
(or simply "J-Rock"). I worship a band called 'X (Japan)'.
Stateside, my favorite all-time group from a young age would have
to be Guns n' Roses. However, lately, i've become obsessed with the
stylings of Morrissey; both his solo work and The Smiths.
d.) I've been on a hardcore Indian kick as of late. But I love
pretty much all food.
The six things I could never do without
I could probably live without pretty much everything save for say;
water, food, shelter, and clothing. So i'd say this whole section
is kind of glib. So instead, i'll list six things i'd rather not do
without:
1.) My cell (Verizon Palm Centro)
2.) My car (2001 Ford Mustang GT)
3.) Romance (Love, Companionship; the whole thing)
4.) Money (I need it to buy me stuffs)
5.) Friendship (Lucky me for the ones I have)
6.) Music (Always playing)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The future, life after death, my friends, my family, what i'll be
doing later, how I look, where's my coffee?, why am I not still
sleeping?, and if someone out there is thinking of me
On a typical Friday night I am
Well, lately i've been going to Club Vertex downtown with any
number of friends. It's a goth club. The people watching is quite
spectacular. The costumes, the makeup, the music, the ambiance; the
whole thing is quite a spectacle. Plus, the open bar from
10:30-11:30 is quite boss. After that, maybe we'll go to a bar
where we can play darts or to a friends house for a bonfire.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
If i'm making an admission for the general public to see, then it's
no longer very private is it?
How about this; I have this crazy thing for girls in glasses.
Especially black rimmed glasses. Headbands too. If you're an
intelligent girl with glasses, a headband, and you aren't
overweight; i'll probably melt in your hands.
Is that honest enough for you?
Oh, and I occasionally post mindless dribble on Twitter:

You should message me if
Anything I said made you think, "hey, he seems pretty cool" or "i'd
like to talk to him".
I'll even accept messages based solely on my looks. Unless, of
course, they're negative. That wouldn't be very nice at all.
I only ask that proper English, grammar, and complete sentences be
used =)
Please note: If I show up on your "stalkers" list often, that
doesn't mean i'm a creeper stalking you. More likely than not, i've
looked at your profile not remembering that I already have. There's
a lot of people on this site.
