How's this for a headliner for you! I NEED FRIENDS! ahem...
Thought I'd update this a little bit. As I've gotten older I've gotten a little less Wonky. But I want to find that sense of adventure again. I've made a few right turns and a few wrong turns...but they made me who I am today. So in a sense I'm awesome because I was stupid. I love cult movies, music, I used to be able to dance a mean robot...Fun fact: I spent some time wanting to be a raver, a goth, and a backwards visor kik wear wearing hip hop wanna be white kid. I've often been told that I'm an odd duck, not sure how to take that but yeah...just moved to the cities about a year ago, and all I'm looking for is friends, or beer buddies. I just need some smiles and happy times. So if you want to chat? Give me a ring a ding ding.
What I’m doing with my life
Managing an Optical shop and taking names. Love working in a pseudo
healthcare related field. And I love glasses...a match made in
I’m really good at
Zombie Makeup (although my talents only shine about once a year)
Entertaining people's earbuds with my music selections. Making an
ass of myself. Cutesy DIY crafts, making mix cd's from a somewhat
eclectic vinyl collection.
The first things people usually notice about me
My glasses. My selections from the library. My dazed far off look,
with my nose stuck in a book...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Favorite Books I have read in the past five years... Zeitoun by
Dave Eggers, The New York Regional Mormon Singles Halloween Dance
by Elna Baker, Wilson by Daniel Clowes, The Walking Dead Series,
pretty much anything Awkward and Real life.
Movies...I enjoy Horror, the good the bad and the cheesy of it. If
it's Indie or quirky, I have a tendency to like it...I've owned
Monster Camp for years ( A documentary on Larping) and JUST finally
watched it, good stuff...as well as Gentleman Broncos by the guy
who brought you Napoleon Dynamite...lets trade suggestions.
Music... again all over the place: Constant Favorites are The Owls,
Architecture in Helsinki, Johnny Cash, Stereototal, for a bit I was
obsessed with Jewish Folk Songs on Vinyl and anything in
French...yup...lets talk more about that...
Food... Indian, Thai... strange bratwurst concoctions... Favorite
Bratwurst: Tator Tot Hot Dish Brats Least Favorite: Sour Gummy
The six things I could never do without
Friends they make life awesome. Family sometimes I hate em,
sometimes I love em, but they are my rock. Music, gives me a
soundtrack to life. Outdoor time...something I don't partake in
enough, but the sounds of wind in the leaves...people walking by,
etc. sometimes being an observer can be great. My Car... it gets me
places I need to go, and to the people I love. And
creativity...because I like to make stuff when inspired.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why we are here? When will everything be okay? How to stay happy
and make others smile? How to fight injustice like a crimefighter
yo? What I want out of life? How can I make the best use of my
time? Do I want to go to grad school or not? Where will I find a
partner in crime?
On a typical Friday night I am
Playing trivia at the 331 if I am able, seeing a show, or just
enjoying me time.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I wanted to be a voice actor for cartoons at one time...and that I
can do a really scary clown laugh.
You should message me if
I have not used the proper grammer in my profile, if you would like
to discuss music, life, etc. If you want to be "real". I am kind of
a weird kid, but also a pretty decent friend who wants more calm
and less storm if you catch my drift...ha ha...witty I know.
