My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am kind of extreme. Not in the “dude, watch this!" way. It's more that I tend to go from wet your pants funny to meaningful, deep processing, all in the same conversation. I love talking; dark or light, heady or spiritual, laugh riot or sacred and intimate.
I like playing with big ideas that stretch me or judo flip my old paradigms.
Balance is the key to happiness. I do this dance between my soul and my intellect, where I shift my weight back and forth endulging them both. For example, doing visual art, my brain enjoys the process of bringing something to light and my soul loves to express it's self and be moved. Playing music is the same way. I play ukulele and guitar. But, ukulele is my little darling.
The other art I like to do is Argentine Tango dancing. My intelect does the choreographing, at the same time, my heart is connecting to my partner and interpreting the music through my body. Although I am still a clod at it, I still love it, and most dance for that matter.

Doing art and raising my two girls, 8 and 10, keeps me really busy. I love being a Dad. My girls are super funny and creative types. Their Mom and I are split parenting, and have a good friendship.
Then, I keep it all together by taking good care of myself. I do yoga, run, work out and meditate. My spiritual life is full yet completely undefined at the moment. I would have to say, I am an old soul. I must have seen too many b&w movies as a kid. I love the sound of a needle finding the groove of a record, fedoras not caps, when a woman wears a dress, pocket watches, sappy romantic love songs, Art Deco and Mid Century Mod.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am a graphic designer and illustrator. I have worked in advertising for years. I love that I can create and think for a living.
I have always wanted to be a dad. My girls and I have so much fun. I just want to blubber on and on about them.
Lately I have been doing more visual art. I have been rendering images that have been coming to me via dreams and meditation. My subconscious apparently has much to say, and its language is really interesting and poetic.
I have been journaling in support of what is happening with the meditation and visual art thing. My writing moves between poetry and philosophy and deals with layers of self.

The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
People always ask me where I am from. I can't tell if it because I look european, or if it is just because I don't take my style cues from curent culture.

On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I got my monkeys on Fridays so, we are either driving from pet store to pet store petting everything they got. Or, we are bombing around on bikes visiting the horses in our hood. But, mostly we chill and talk. They are so much fun to hang with.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I miss my crazy curly mustache.
