Hi. I'm Patric.

I am a visual communications graduate from the university of arizona. I animate, illustrate, make props, action figures, clothing, all sorts of stuff (even puppets).

So, yeah... In my free time, I'm usually working on that and/or watching movies with friends. I really like horror movies and bad sci-fi (good sci-fi too).

If I can find the time I also really enjoy hiking. Now I don't know if I particularly enjoy camping, but I do enjoy the idea of walking for a really long time and then passing out (i'm convinced it's the same thing).

Last, but not least, is youtube. Do you use it? I'm obsessed with it. So here's my channel: Star Map Disco

I don't have many videos, but I'm pretty proud of my favorites. I also keep a pretty active journal on here (so feel free).

ps - I just moved to San Francisco, Parkside, so new friends are always good (hit me up if we have some stuff in common). :)

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

I just graduated, worked on my final art show in Tucson, and randomly decided to up and move to san francisco (I'm much happier now). This city is just great and I can finally make my internet-based puppet series in a place that is much more aesthetically pleasing.

I've thought about grad school, going somewhere for either animation, media arts, or astronomy. Though I think that astronomy would send me right back to tucson... so maybe I'll just buy myself a telescope.

I spend a lot of time thinking about Propose an edit

Creating a world with zombies, robots and giant explosions. I hope that it becomes popular enough so that I can spread some kind of positive message to the world, without sounding preachy, and making enough money to build my dream house.

On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit

Well, in Tucson I was usually watching movies at friends' houses, playing videogames, or working on one of my projects. Now that I'm in SF, I suppose I will never have a typical friday night again (though so far I've spent most of it surfing youtube or sitting somewhere and drinking coffee).

And I'm not too into the club scene, meaning not at all, but I do drink on occasion. Dancing? No, I'm far too awkward for dancing (so please don't make me). It's weird that a lot of the characters I create do dance (I suppose I'm living vicariously through them). Hmm...

I've got more action figures and toys than you could shake a stick at, but please don't shake a stick at them (they might fall over).
