My self-summary
My whole entire life is expressed in every song written by Steven Patrick Morrissey. Im sarcastic and witty and often times called "cold". I think most people mistake my indifference for snark. To quote Jonathan Ames, "(she)said I was self absorbed and emotionally unavailable" pretty much is me.

It's really hard to "get" me. I'm a strange breed that luckily due to my random assortment of friends I don't fit one type. I'm the type of person who can go on long rants about women's rights and debate with you why I am for gun control. But then I can also drink and beer watch football and go fishing. I've found no one person really caters to my personality because it's so fluid. But you can try. And I'm pretty sure I can have one thing in common with everyone.

I have a son who is transitioning into a rather charming young man, who sometimes seems to be way more self aware and rational than me at times. He is my world and everything in my life revolves around him. He loves comic books and Star Wars, which are two things that I know little to nothing about. So it leaves me flabbergasted when he asks me questions about Mace Windu or Lex Luthor.

Im just looking for someone to share some laughs and conversations with. Someone who loves tacos and BBQ, horribly crappy beer, horribly crappy horror movies (Troma or Troll 2). I am kind of a domesticated housewife at heart. I have a fresh herb garden and I love cooking/baking.
What I’m doing with my life
Enriching my mind with books (try and read at least a few books a month), and training my body by running long distances and going to the gym.

I got a real job, where I bother people for a living. Im apparently really good at this.
I’m really good at
Getting banned from dating sites. Been banned here 2 times, POF 4 and now Tinder.
The first things people usually notice about me
They say that I look like Gargamel. Well, I do have a cat best friend and just want to kill Smurfs, so its pretty accurate.

The six things I could never do without
My son.
My phone.
My coffee maker.
My kitchen.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Politics. I wouldnt say I am a political nerd, but I do keep up with current events. I lean more towards liberal, and sex positive feminism, so my views are a little more radical than most. While I do enjoy talking with like minded people, healthy debate never hurts. I feel like passion on either side is a good thing, indifference will be the end of us all.
On a typical Friday night I am
making plans then breaking them because realistically I just want to stay home and veg out with some bridge mix, a beer and Flight of The Conchords.

I feel like online dating is somewhere between meeting at a bar and going to a glory hole.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
If you don't know "Inbetween Days", then don't expect to get Inbetween these legs. ;)
You should message me if
Like cats and being awesome. And eating treats and going to museums. Or if your idea of a great date is, walking around laughing at people, drinking coffee and discussing art and politics and why no one seems to enjoy foreign films. Or you would steal a marble rye from an old lady and hate puffy shirts. Or you want to go running or can spot me at the gym bro. You want to grab a beer and talk about sports. You want to grab boba and speak in memes. You want to see how far we can take it playing Cards Against Humanity. You are okay that sometimes my only textual response is a picture of a drag queen.

Actually in Houston, sorry.
