My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Imaginative photographer seeks models, poly friends, adventure, and really wild things - couples & singles equally welcome ;-)

And a muse i.e. a photographic model

Update : I now live with a wonderfully polyamorous lass I met on here, who is helping me expand my imagination in more ways than one. I'm absolutely loving living the poly lifestyle, and have met several fabulous people on here. I'm always happy to make new friends.

I'm also looking for models, and would love to find someone who shares my vision.

The 2nd paragraph should get the grammar Nazis going :)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Apart from protesting against Tony Abbott and enjoying life with my partners (several of whom I met on here) photography is my passion... I love shooting people, and experimenting with all types of erotica...

Some of my more vanilla work is on display at www.dportrait.com.
I must build a new website one of these years...

Some more recent / fetishy stuff is on my Fetlife profile
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Dreaming up silly jokes, puns and neologisms

Finding logical absurdities. I've journaled a few of OKC's quirks and their funny results... though sadly one of OKC's disimprovements has removed this feature.

I'm also amused by the number of members who are seeking non monogamous relationships, but only with single people...

I have rediscovered the joys of swimming & cycling, soon I'll be 1/2 the man I used to be - well almost. 15kg down and counting!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm chatty, friendly, but seem pretty straight to those who don't know me too well.

Online I can be a little more cheeky, and once I get to know you watch out ;-)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Science fiction is a favourite, Douglas Adams gets a special mention. I enjoy many classic Sci Fi novels and short stories, Asimov, Clarke, Heinlein and Sheckley spring to mind. Terry Pratchett's first 27 discworld novels were great, after that they jumped the shark.

Jasper Fforde is a more recent discovery. I enjoy non fiction too such as Richard Dawkins and Oliver Sacks

The Ethical Slut deserves a special mention - a great overview of poly. Sex at Dawn has some interesting content too, though the last few chapters would benefit from a thorough edit.

I enjoy a wide range of movies & TV, anything from Monty Python to Lord of the Rings, 007 (and otherBondage) to Red Dwarf, Dr Who & The Big Bang Theory. I lean towards the British in my humour, quality American film is great too though 50% turns out to actually be Canadian eh!

Really enjoying the new Sherlock series, only a handful of episodes each year but done so well!

Joss Whedon is a god. The Dollhouse is so wonderfully dystopian. HBO has some great shows however the way they are releasing Game of Thrones this year is plain dumb.

I should also mention :
Top Gear, Mythbusters, The IT Crowd, Firefly, Buffy, 2001, Amelie, A Clockwork Orange, The Blues Brothers, Queer as Folk, Mad Max I & II, Priscilla , The Castle and pretty much anything else by the D Gen guys. Hows the serenity?

I'm allergic to footbrawl, cricket, "reality" TV and other alternatives to watching paint dry.

When it comes to participating in sport swimming and cycling suit me well.

I enjoy all cusines and love discovering new foods... though have to be a little careful with some food groups.

When it comes to music quality is more important than genre to me. This is worth a watch : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_IzYUJANfk

However some styles such as gangsta rap and death metal seem to have less tunefullness to me. A few Aussie Hip Hop group show how well this style can be done. No tune = not music IMHO. Probably goes back to my early exposure to music being mainly classical. Ravel's Bolero is one exception to the above, especially as used in Allegro Non Troppo.

Whoever invented the vocoder / autotune should be shot. It didn't work for Cher in the 90s and its still lame now. At least she had a little talent, most of the current proponents can't claim that.

Some fave lyrics of mine, sung so very well too... check out Abi Tuckers version - much, much better than Cold Chisels recent release. The rewrite & performance both suck majorly. Ironic as the song was written by a Chisels member, who has apparently since forgotten what irony is.

Everybody wants to be famous,
Everybody wants more things,
Everybody wants to feel the pain that a whole lot of money's gonna bring.

Everybody wants their name on the guest list,
Everybody wants to get in free,
Everybody wants complete fidelity, and two or three lovers simultaneously.

Everybody wants to be... individual,
Everybody else does too,
All I wanna be is idiot free, outta here with you

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Caffeine - I love my coffee & chocolate. Tea & chai are good too - almost anything except decaf is fine.

The internet - no self respecting geek should leave home
without it. Asimov would be proud of the scientific achievement but failed to predict the two most popular uses would be sharing kitten photos and selfies in various states of undress.

Sex especially Menage a trois ;-)

Intelligent conversation - or sometimes just plain
silly especially if there is too much blood in my caffiene stream

My cameras, both film and digital. Despite the limitations of asexual reproduction these seem to breed faster than cats!

Weekends - time to relax

Pets - cat psychology is fascinating, smart dogs
are great too
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
the most random things...

OK Cupid prefers profiles with verbiage greater than 500
1000 words. This doesn't sound like a true reflection of its users,
the research on messaging (OkTrends is baaaack) suggested short & pithy was better than long and rambling. However as fish1970 pointed out long winded helps OKC do well in google search.

Sure I want to know about you, but that's best done in a two way
conversation. Monologues are almost inevitably overdone. If you feel the need to write a 1000 word essay under each heading you are highly likely to be too self absorbed for me...
[/rant]

Writers are the exception to the above...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Glad the weekend is ahead... and making cunning plans
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I once owned a Camry... how embarrassment. Of course I'm now seeing someone who owns one, I knew that would come back to bite me on the ass. Mmmm I do enjoy that ;)

The nude bungy jump was a blast!

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You are interested in poly / ethical non monogamy or have some kinks to explore ;-)

Or you'd be interested in modelling for me, I always have new concepts to work on. A regular muse would be great, but one offs are cool too.
