Boisterous and confident, yet introspective and nerdy. I'm a dynamic character with way too many tastes.

I'm a forward-thinking person with a deep belief in work towards positive relationships. From cooking dinner with and for friends to making sure all the tools my coworkers need to succeed are there, I constantly strive to better my surroundings and myself. Every day that I learn something new and make someone laugh, put a smile on someone's face, that is a successful day to me.

Making time to see my family and friends is a top priority. Sometimes only a quick lunch or coffee or preferably staying up way too late bantering and joking back and forth all night long, staying connected is what makes me shine. I feel most at ease when I am in witty company with keen minds who will call each other out on the spot. We will push the limits of casual discussion and don't mind crossing the line when needed, but tempered ever with respect for dissenting points of view. Truth and honesty are the foundations to all relationships; being able to take it and dish it out are signs of the truest confidence.

Working hard and learning as much as possible at a fantastic job. Trying to push my limits from working out to practicing music. Messaging people that I'm a 95% enemy or higher with and challenging them to mortal kombat. No takers so far.

Pretending to be competent at thing I am not, like filling out profile information. Pumping myself up. Being ridiculous. Getting excited at minor things.

I'm frank, outspoken and quick of wit. Humble, too.

Food: Spicy food, tofu soup, sushi, pho, burritos, chicken, cottage cheese, kale, scotch and whiskey.

Music: NPR (does that count?), Blues, jazz, big band, alternative, rap, hip hop, metal. Kashiwa Daisuke, Muse, A Perfect Circle, Rachmaninoff, Hooker, Neil Young, Cash, System of a Down, Handsome Boy Modeling School, Dan the Automator, NIN, Thelonious Monk. There is a time and mood for everything.

Movies: bad sci-fi movies, Kurosawa films, The Brave Little Toaster, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, A Time to Kill, Labyrinth, The Princess Bride, The Man from Nowhere, Boondock Saint's, Reservoir Dogs, Trainspotting, korean suspense/horror films, documentaries, anything that can provoke a discussion.

Music to move my head to and look like an idiot while dancing at my desk (the benefits of a standing desk at work).
Google search and maps. I remember the dark ages of no online maps, never AGAIN!
Culturally diverse areas. Being within walking distance of 13
different languages and as many food choices is amazing.
Scotch and whiskey.
Whiskey rocks.
Puns.

How much I love food and the outside. How much I despise people who don't signal. How to make stuff and then how to break it. Signs and signals. The interplay of expectations, assumptions and observations.

Cooking, reading, gaming, drinking and having fun where ever I'm located

My ego needs to be kept in check. It's not so much that I think I'm better than other people, so much as that I know I'm amazing.

You have no problem making a complete ass of yourself trying out something new or doing something you love but are terrible at (if you are into bad karaoke, let's make it happen).

You have something that gets you up in the morning, a passion, a desire. You know what you want out of life (is that redundant? if you know what you want, you already know if you want to message me, why are you reading this far?) and are willing to bite, claw, kick, punch and have fun on your way to get it.

If you send a one line message or just a smile or anything similar, if I respond at all, it is going to be snarky as hell. If you don't waste my time, I won't waste yours.
