I am an avid libertarian who by day advocates for civil liberties on college campuses and by night runs a blog for libertarian women. Somewhere in there I make time to eat, sleep, and learn graphic design and web design.

If you can get past the fact that I'm libertarian, the next thing you should know is that I am in an open/polyamorous/non-manogamous relationship with biomancy who I consider to be my life partner.

If you're cool with those two things, we can move on to the more esoteric crap.

For a quick and dirty idea of who and how I am, my MBTI is INTJ, but those who know me say I'm a very extraverted introvert. I tend to be loud, abrasive, and excitable, feeling no qualms about showing both excitement and disdain or disapproval.

The primary value I have for myself and others is honesty. I will always tell you the truth, even if it's something you don't want to hear. I figure that way, when I say something nice, you never have to wonder if I'm telling the truth or not. It's crucial for me to be able to trust that people are honest with me, also. I have no tolerance for guessing-games or passive-aggressive tendencies.

I am not a nice person. Nice people tell you what you want to hear and make sure you always feel good. I am, however, kind and caring. Caring people want you to be happy, and that sometimes means giving you hard choices and telling you when you've done something wrong.

The last thing for me, I suppose, is that I love to learn. Right now I am picking up skills (sewing, graphic design, web design, photography), but I also enjoy learning about ideas (I particularly enjoy philosophy, law, technology, and history). I primarily like to learn things through talking and discussing ideas with other people. Some people call this debate or arguing. I call it robust information exchange. ^_^

I have been slowly learning to make medieval costume. I enjoy cosplay when I can.

I eat. I sleep. I fight for liberty. Somewhere in there I find time for my few close friends, fiance, and my hobbies.

Debating is probably the only thing I have ever been naturally good at, much to the chagrin of most who know me. Close seconds are writing, and fixing computers. I am also bizarrely good at organizing people and planning events, even if I don't like it.

My eyes. Or the fact that I'm pretty pale.

Ugh. I hate this question. I'll give you one of each:

Book: All you need to know is that I have two 6' bookshelves, each filled completely with books. Asking me to choose favorites is like asking me to choose a favorite child.
Movie: How to Train Your Dragon. Yeah; I said it.
Show: My favorite series of all time is Elfen Lied. Points if you know what that is.
Music: Incubus is my favorite band, but I have eclectic music tastes ranging from folk to dubstep.
Food: I will eat steak any time, anywhere.

I'm going to assume we're excluding food, water, and shelter from the list...

Right now I am really hung up on the problem of consent, particularly with regards to sexual assault. Fun, light topic, I know.

Aside from that, I tend to think a lot about the world and my place in it, libertarianism, Sartre, what I am writing that week, and how to do my job more effectively.

Sitting at home, on my computer taking care of my blog. Basically just relaxing and recharging from my work week.

I am often frustrated by my lack of physical ability. I cannot seem to get my body to do what I want it to do without an inordinate amount of practice.
