Divorced male Midwesterner that now lives near D.C. I am interested in many thing , from the Society for Creative Anachronism or ( SCA ) to sci-fi , Celtic music to folk music to old time rock 'n' roll, and always reading.

It is easy to say I am in to most of the Counterculture / geeky things but I also enjoy some sports (yes even gaps football ).
I am a computer systems analyst, 6' 2" and always in search for new experience.
Ok that is not anywhere near a complete picture of me, but the only way to get a decent idea of someone is to spend time with them

The normal stuff ... mostly figuring out just how I fit in the DC area ... and looking for someone to share it with.

My Sloppy Joes are not bad at all.

I can make a full Thanksgiving dinner and enjoy doing it.

The fact that I am as big as a small gorilla … or that I look like Hagrid, even when I don’t have a pink umbrella.

I like just about all movies, but not a fan of horror films. The slasher flicks don’t do it for me (but an old Hitchcock like movie, those were great). Also I don’t like to read my movies. As for books, SciFi and fantasy mostly … but a good who done it or a good historical fiction works also.

Other than the basics of food and what not (like everyone adds here) hmmm MY MORNING COFFEE!

Just about everything … I have been told that I think too much … I wonder is it posible for someone think too much?
Does your mind have a limited number of thoughts and when they run out are we done ... I dont think so (damn I used up another one ;-) )

Lately .... watching SciFi on TV, or out at a movie.

I probably fall in love too easily.
I don’t like doing the dishes even if I did the cooking.
